[ It's just about Han's luck that he, uh. Oversleeps.

That is to say, he wakes up on the Marsiva and has barely enough time to get his bearings-- to find his blaster missing and sidle over to the wide windows in the viewing bay to stare out at the unfamiliar stars-- before--

Okay, he actually has no idea before what. What happens. One minute he is quietly, definitely not panicking about the fact that he has no idea where he is, and then he's somewhere else with less idea of where he is, and confetti.

It takes him a few minutes more to catch up and (sort of) figure out the communicator, and by the time he actually tries to reach out, he looks visibly harried. ]

Okay, look, I really don't have time for whatever this is... And where is my ship?!

[ Because that is definitely the most. important. question. of all! ]

Just... try not to get into trouble with the Atroma. I'm all for trying to get a ticket out of here, but they're not easily tricked or bribed. I was here for almost a year at least, last time I got brought here so I've learned a thing or two.

You left and came back? Is it true that things-- that no one misses you?

They don't even know we're gone. I didn't remember this place at all. And I'm not even sure if it really was leaving and coming back. I woke up on the Marsiva, just like last time. For all we know it's just a dream and we go into some kind of stasis.

[She wasn't sure what to think about it. It had all certainly felt real, but then so had her memories when shed' fallen asleep aboard the Goldstone for weeks.]

I was kinda in the middle of something. Important somethings.

[ He doesn't want to question getting back. ]

You and everyone else. They should start a ticketing system at this rate - as if any of us will be able to get home.

Why what's the 'important somethings' you were doing?

I have to give a guy a ride. Long story. And I mean it probably doesn't matter, if this is really a different Galaxy, but it's classified. Classified enough that I probably shouldn't know about it except I'm the sucker they got doing the job.

Well, I'd hope they're at least paying you well so you have something to look forward to when you get back.

Classified sounds pretty important, though. That could be lots of things. Drugs, people, military documents... sure you're up for that kind of mess?

A spaceship, of course. I don't think I'd accomplish much with a boat.

Hey, I thought I'd ask. You never know. We get all kinds here - time is kind of a bit weird around here for people. Some come from the past some come from the future.

How far in the past do you mean?

[ Han really can't conceive of a time when you wouldn't mean spaceship, at least in most circumstances. ]

I don't know how far in the past other people might be but I've had friends come in and not remember things that happened because it hadn't technically happened for them yet. As weird as that sounds. But no cavemen or anything like that.

And space travel to different galaxies isn't something anyone from my home knows how to do yet.

Well, travel between galaxies is ridiculous.

Tell that to the Atroma. We visit new planets and things frequently. It gets repetitive after a while.

Wait, you're not even used to interstellar travel, where you're from?

Nope. No space traveling until this place. I'm from Earth. You?

Corellia. I mean, originally. I get around a lot. I've never heard of your planet.

That makes two of us - I've never heard of yours either. Didn't stay in one place on my planet much either. Me and my family ended up traveling a lot for a while until we finally settled in one place. Somewhere between that and now, I ended up here.

I gotta say, it's pretty hard to imagine being stuck on one planet.

[ He can't help himself, he's a die-hard spacer. ]

I wouldn't have agreed with you before, but now I think I like the travel. Being able to see different places, different cultures of people, keeps things fresh for a while. I don't mind helping where I can. There aren't a lot of people left who could say the same thing where I'm from.

[She might not be a die-hard spacer, but she does enjoy some aspects of it. If she hadn't come here she wouldn't have met her crew.]

I don't really look at it like charity when they take our money when we want to buy stuff anyway. It's a bit like exchanging services.
