Wintersend party! + closed

Who: The DA cast and whoever they dragged along to this shingding
Broadcast: Nooooope
Action: Yuuuuuup
When: Tonight!

It's Wintersend! (Or roughly around the equivalent of when it would be back in Thedas. [Actually it's a bit late but whatever CLOSE ENOUGH]) Time to party! Riona found a small party hall to rent on Duotera, in an area that's a bit more reminiscent of early spring.

There are decorations everywhere. Don't worry guys, this isn't meant to be formal. This is just what happens when Riona gets to decorate unsupervised.

There are, of course, plenty of food and drinks. The food is mostly finger snacks, but there are also sandwiches and the like. As for the drinks: yes, they are mostly alcoholic, she knows how you folks roll.

As Wintersend is theater season, Riona compromises for the lack of actual theater with a rigged projector playing movies on the far wall. With a variety of genres running, there'll hopefully be something for everyone, and serves as a place for the more introverted to get away from the party for a bit.

And because it's Wintersend, that means presents. There's a separate table off to the side away from the food where people can place their presents for each other.

The goal is to have something for everyone, and to encourage everyone to have fun. Eat, drink, be merry and all that jazz!

((OOC: Separate starters for food table, present table, etc will be below!))

Justice doesn't say he's fine, because that would be a lie. He keeps his eyes on Loyalty, because it's easier to look at her than anything else while he tries to figure out how to answer that question, wary of revealing too much in a space where he knows there are people who wish him harm. It's strange to be in a space with so many friends and to still feel uncomfortable.

"I believe you suspect the answer to that question, if you are asking it," he says. Once Loyalty has finished her snack, Justice picks her up, settling her in his lap and scratching behind her ears. It's an instinct for affection that used to be utterly foreign to him, but luckily, Loyalty indulges him and begins to purr. "Are you well?"

Cyril accepts that, though he is curious how to offer an ear to vent to if Justice needs it. At times he wishes Cole was here because having someone to feel his emotions and express them openly helps with communication.

"I'm well enough," he answers. "At times, I wish I could learn more of the technology here. Some others offered to help me with a new arm, but it would be reassuring to make it myself..." The prosthetic he has is pretty but nonfunctional. He wants something he can use his bow with.

He isn't sure why his mind settled on sharing this topic. It's very personal, and strange to just bring up during a holiday party.
whatisright: Humanized Justice (Probably confused)

"Is there someone here who could teach you to make one?"

It doesn't strike Justice as strange that Cyril would share personal information with him. In some ways, no information is personal to a spirit, especially considering they hear thoughts. Mortals can fuss around with facade and privacy, but spirits were always meant to see a mortal's heart.

"I understand that one can request that their augments give them expertise that they do not have." Maybe Atroma could make itself useful for once, though Justice is suspicious of the augments.

Cyril hadn't even considered going that route. He was still a little iffy on the whole idea of having information just planted in his head, but he could see the merit of the system.

"Oh! That might work. There were some who were offering to help, but I'm not sure how many were still here. Having the knowledge for myself would help me maintain it as well as build it."
