Video
Who: Sandalio
Broadcast: Yes
Action: Yes for anyone aboard the Blameless when he suddenly arrives
When: February 15th and 17th
[Sandalio has always been a clever one so it really hasn't taken him long to get a feel for this augment of his. Particularly since it really is helping with the one thing he happens to believe he excels at. Talking to other people. So Sandalio has set about to reach out to whoever might be listening. To help distract him from being away from his pack and Lyall. To stop the loneliness. To help ignore the confusion of not knowing where night begins and day ends...
Yes. Talking with people. That's what he'll do.]
Good evening. At least I suppose it is that. It's actually remarkably difficult to tell honestly. Usually I'd be able to but... No matter.
[He continues onward.]
I am the Lord Falmouth, Sandalio de Rabiffano. Presently I have an inquiry of sorts given the state of matters as they are. Where might one procure a decent cup of tea? While we are on the topic, if you will forgive me, is there a way to have meat?
You have my gratitude whatever your answers might be.
[He's a proper Victorian gentleman, alright. He can't help but to be polite even with the circumstances he's in. Even if he's stuck on this welcome ship. And that is why this proper British gentleman is tipping his hat politely as well before ending the transmission.]

video;
The Marsiva usually has the best stocked kitchen of all the ships, if I remember right. Well, that's not true. The Iskaulit probably has the best, but the Marsiva should have a good stock unless it's had a redesign since I was there.
[ Two years ago, Kirk. So helpful. ]

Though it only enhances the fact that this lack of sense of day and night is...baffling.]
Does it? I suppose I will have to investigate since I appear to have a great deal of free time presently.
[Also he might not be just looking at the man. He is taking a moment to admire the technology and...the sunlight. It's been a bit since he last saw the sunlight for himself. Sometimes he does miss it. Even if he is an alpha he knows that it's still not healthy for him.]

[ Look all you like, Biffy. Kirk is always up for putting on a show, unintentional or otherwise. ]
The Marsiva does give you quite a bit of time to think, that's true. But you won't be there for long. You'll get transferred to one of the smaller ships soon, so when you wake up somewhere new in the next few days don't be alarmed. Perfectly normal.
[ So nonchalant. Being kidnapped by some weird space power that be is so passe. ]
no subject
[He looks thoroughly amused. But at least the view is pleasant.]
I take it you've been dealing with this for quite awhile given your casual tone?
no subject
Hmm, a little over two years now, I think. But I'm just in my teens in terms of time spent here.
[ He lifted a drink to his lips and sipped - looked like juice of some kind, but it was bright pink. ]
I'm James Tiberius Kirk, but Jim is fine. Captain of the Tourist here in the fleet, and the Enterprise back home. Welcome to our little hodge-podge family.

I know where you can get meat! I always hunt on the planets, and I have plenty of meat that I freeze. Of course I can't help you while you're on the Marsiva, but once you're shuffled, come by the Blue Fish. I can help you out.

Thank you. I presently have nothing to offer in exchange for your kindness. However, I would like to extend my gratitude for now until I can find a way to repay you since I will more than likely be coming to you regularly.
no subject
Aww, don't worry about it, you don't have to repay me. We help each other out here, we're all stuck here, after all.

Only like...marginally, though.

video.
[ An English accent comes through the video feed, isn't it your lucky day. ]
I'm not sure about meat, but you could try on the planets? There will probably be a better selection.
no subject
[Yes he hears that accent and he is more than grateful for it.]
Thank you ever so much, Miss...?
no subject
[ It's always been something that comforted her, especially with being here. ]
Hermione. Hermione Granger, but just Hermione will be fine.
no subject
[He sighs gently. What can you do, right?]
A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Miss Granger.
[He's from Victorian times, Hermione. Please have patience with his need to be polite.]
no subject
[ It'll get easier, she's certain of it, but... All she can do is laugh, expression soft. ]
And yours, too. Is there anything else you need?

Probably not great for you. I mean, not great for either of us, since we're both here.
no subject
[He sighs a little.]
Though I will agree that this is "probably not great."
no subject
Or so I'm told.

[Action]
New arrival? Welcome to the SS Blameless. I'll be with you in a second. Are you alright at least?
no subject
I can assure you that I am fine.
[A sigh.]
So this is the ship I'm assigned to?
no subject
[That's good, less stuff to go over. Shiro finishes inputting the coordinates and leaves the cabin to receive the new member of his crew. There's a medium-sized puppy following him, but he suddenly stops walking when he sniffs the air. Something is weird, the doggy decides.]
I'm Shiro, captain and one of the pilots. [He offers his metal hand to shake.] Anything you need, you can count on me. What's your name?
no subject
I am Sandalio de Rabiffano. It is a pleasure, Captain.
[He offers a warm smile as he takes his hand for a solid handshake. He's on the slender side but clearly strong.]
Now, I hate to settle into important matters so soon after my arrival but would it be alright to speak with you privately, Captain?
no subject
Please, just Shiro is fine. [He nods and starts walking, making signs to his dog to follow him. Procyon does, but keeping distance.] Follow me, we can talk in the lounge. Do you want anything to drink or eat for this conversation, Sandalio?
