[And hey look, it's a clock! You know, that walking and talking clock you all know, love, and some tolerate. He sniffs, holding up a piece of paper.]
Greetings, all. I am Cogsworth, for those who do not know me. For those who do, I am alive ... [a roll of the eyes] so to speak, and I am making this announcement so you know I have not been kidnapped or held against my will or have become an ... inanimate object in which will never change and never enjoy the feeling of flesh ever again -
[He cuts himself off.]
Anyways. That is all. Still Captain, still alive, still here.

Seriously? You vanish for a month without word and you're still acting as if you're justified for hiding away when you know Atroma could do anything to you? I told you, that the curse is broken back home, for you too. You're just being-
[He cuts himself off. Deep breaths. Calm. He rubs his forehead, closing his eyes. And for a moment, a hint of genuine tiredness seeps out. ]
Sacré bleu, Cogsworth. I was worried about you.
Re: Video
Has it ever occurred to you that my pain and suffering is not, In Fact, about You? I am in Mourning for my Humanity, you twig legged twit! You do not get to tell me how I should feel about not being human. And yes, oh so lovely that back home we are human once more. Tell me, what good does it do me now - AND - what makes you think the Atroma ever will let me get my body back?
[Deep. Breath. In.]
I needed time, Lumiere. I still need time. This hurts.

[This is so vastly different to the Cogsworth he knows. A man who would pretty much constantly put on that British stiff upper lip. Certainly, they had their disagreements, but it was never like this. Not even in the darkest days of the curse was Cogsworth like this. He'd just busy himself with something around the castle and get on with it. He played his emotions close to his chest at all times.
He almost wonders if Atroma had done something to him while he was asleep. He hates this. It's like talking to a stranger and he has no idea how to handle it. ]
Fine. Take all the time you need. I'll leave you alone.
Re: Video
What isn't like me?
[He taps his little brass hands together, frowning.]

This. All of this. I've never known you to be so vocal about your emotions. What happened to 'suave and genteel?' Not making a scene? You're acting like you'll never see the light of day again. You know the curse will lift eventually, I saw you back home. You were there. I've told you this. Twice. Just because Atroma have not sent you there yet means nothing about you, it is just their way- making things happen for the drama. Something else I have told you. Many times. You're reacting just as they would want you to.
[Like the Master having an angsty temper tantrum. ]
I never thought I would be the one telling you, of all people, that you need to calm down.
Re: Video
I will calm down when you admit that you are being something of a insensitive clod about the whole thing.

If you were not in any of these dire situations then might I ask what had become of you? I am rather new to all of this madness, good Captain. So I am still learning the myriad of details that come with arrival of less than a week.
Re: Video
As you can see, I am a clock. I was not originally a clock, I was a man like you. My friend was also cursed to be a candlestick, but while he was allowed to go home and regain his mortal form?
I am... a clock.
[Deeper sigh.]
... and will likely remain so. I have been sequestered to mourn my humanity and the fact that I will never, ever know the love of a ma - ma - man.
[And now he might be praying under his breath for his immortal soul, go ahead and ignore that.]

[Have a brow lifted right back at you.]
It would have been rude to ask about you being a clock since we have only just met. Though I do fail to see how being a clock would prevent the love of another. However, this is, of course, not my business.
[He bows his head politely.]

[And let us ... take a moment.]
Well, you know, I do not have ... [He waves his little brass arms, with his thumbs, because he has thumbs and that's about it.] Appendages. Beyond that, who would really love a clock?
[Can you sense the dramatic music? There is dramatic music. Possibly a stained glass window.]

[He offers him a smile now.]
If I may, good Captain, if you are actually man first but trapped in the body of a clock then I feel that it will show a true love of who you are if they find they feel affection towards you no matter your appearance. For it would be your heart and not your looks they would adore.

[Solemn clock is admiring solemn clock. He bows, with all due respect and decorum. A pause, and, well.]
All right. Well. Yes. That is a good point.

[Well it seems he's on this man's good side now at least. He can feel accomplished in that.]
I would not give up hope. Though I do not know you due to this being our first meeting, I believe that if you are honest and willing to be open towards others then you may find your treasured romance.
