[Kitty appears on video looking a liiiiiiittle different than the way she usually looks. The augment had some fun adjusting her. She’s not a cat, but she’s certainly got a lot of catlike features which isn’t unheard of for a mutant.

The pupils of her eyes are no longer round, but a slit. Her nails have also changed, growing to a point and hooking slightly to serve more as claws. Her fangs have extended slightly. Her ears now come to more of a point and are soft and fuzzy like the rest of her body. There’s a short layer of fur everywhere now, similar in color to her usual skin tone, but with gray tabby-like striped markings appearing over certain parts of her body like her face, legs, arms, and tail. Oh, yeah, there’s a tail too. Of course there is.]

[You might spot the direwolf pup, Seeker run by with Kitty following him.] Come on, it’s still me.

[Or maybe you just run into her in the kitchen, bridge, lounge, engine room, or shuttle bay. There are only so many places to be on the ship after all and she gets cagey being all locked up during the drifting weeks when she’s at her best. Right now she’s even more restless than usual. And you know how she’ll often sit on a table or counter instead of a chair? Well, she’s still doing that, but sometimes she’s taking it even more extreme being up on the top of book shelves and various equipment.

[ Iskaulit ]
[As awkward as she feels in this body, she’s not going to stop living her life because of it. That means time spent training in the gym where she very awkwardly isn’t sure what to deal with her tail. You might get to see her step on it again. It also means she’ll drop by the library to replenish her book supply and Jarvis’ for some food. A girl’s gotta eat!]

[He's pushing it with some of these, he knows, but no holds barred now, he's determined to get a laugh.]

[His grin is ridiculous, but he glances away for a moment before turning back to her.]

However, I acknowledge this is litter-ally ridiculous, so I'll take pity on you.

[Shaking her head.] You couldn't help yourself. You had to get one more in for the road. [There are going to be so many more, aren't there?]

[She had him pegged, but it was completely worth it.

He'd need to shower her in more puns, once he'd found the right subject matter; there was an art to this, after all.]

Oh....I don't know. Maybe about a seven or eight? I'm very curious about the texture.

Seven or eight's not bad. It's probably at least a couple of points higher than usual, right? [Have some harmless flirty teasing?] I don't even really know how it feels since I have fur on both sides. [Displaying her palms.]

Maaaybe. It might only be one point higher, you do appear very pettable most days.

[Huh...furry palms was sure to be a weird sensation.]

I...see...how does it feel trying to pick things up? [He's super curious, okay?]

Everything is suddenly softer than it appears? [Not that it is actually the items that have changed here.] Except my nails. Those are sharper for sure.

Of course. If you feel the urge to sharpen them, I suggest not taking it out on the furniture. Maybe the gym equipment, something you can reach up to and stretch while you're doing it.

I guess just be careful if you need to shake anyone's hand. Although don't be alarmed if he desire to rub yourself against people's shins becomes overwhelming, it's perfectly normal.

Mmmhmm, I'll keep that in mind. Maybe I'd just use a nail file. [Denying the existence of any cat-like instincts!]

You know, I've always had the shin thing. Most people are very accepting of it.

[He laughs.] Oh, of course, I can see where you're coming from, those bones and thin layers of skin. So delightful. The best part of the body, really.

I just hope I'm not shedding without a maintenance crew on board.

What? You don't want an extensive anatomy lesson? The implant gave me knowledge of bones and ligaments I didn't know had names, I could bore you to death with all of them.

[Maybe he'll just set that one aside for a time he might need to torment her with unnecessary physiological knowledge.]

Does the Twin Roses not have the cleaning machine things around?
