[Kitty appears on video looking a liiiiiiittle different than the way she usually looks. The augment had some fun adjusting her. She’s not a cat, but she’s certainly got a lot of catlike features which isn’t unheard of for a mutant.

The pupils of her eyes are no longer round, but a slit. Her nails have also changed, growing to a point and hooking slightly to serve more as claws. Her fangs have extended slightly. Her ears now come to more of a point and are soft and fuzzy like the rest of her body. There’s a short layer of fur everywhere now, similar in color to her usual skin tone, but with gray tabby-like striped markings appearing over certain parts of her body like her face, legs, arms, and tail. Oh, yeah, there’s a tail too. Of course there is.]

Okay. Just get all the puns and jokes out of your systems right now.

[You might spot the direwolf pup, Seeker run by with Kitty following him.] Come on, it’s still me.

[Or maybe you just run into her in the kitchen, bridge, lounge, engine room, or shuttle bay. There are only so many places to be on the ship after all and she gets cagey being all locked up during the drifting weeks when she’s at her best. Right now she’s even more restless than usual. And you know how she’ll often sit on a table or counter instead of a chair? Well, she’s still doing that, but sometimes she’s taking it even more extreme being up on the top of book shelves and various equipment.

[ Iskaulit ]
[As awkward as she feels in this body, she’s not going to stop living her life because of it. That means time spent training in the gym where she very awkwardly isn’t sure what to deal with her tail. You might get to see her step on it again. It also means she’ll drop by the library to replenish her book supply and Jarvis’ for some food. A girl’s gotta eat!]

Uh...huh. [It doesn't feel like she's getting straight answers. These answers are all bendy and crooked.] I guess you'll have that. You don't go by Rip Van Winkle back home, do you?

It is one of my many nicknames. Most of them are a lot more insulting.

Me too, though no one has called me that for awhile. Nice that we're not overlapping. Kate didn't go by Katherine while she was here either. Makes me wonder if anyone does.

Oh we had more than two Kates? [Clearly we're Pokemon.] What a shame I didn't meet her. Was her hair also dark and curly?

Her hair was dark and straight usually. She may have gone through a curly period though. Not a doppleganger.

Pity. I thought I was getting a start on my whole clone army. Sorey would have been thrilled.

I don't think I know Sorey. Is he a big fan of armies? Or clones? Or clones specifically in armies? Or maybe just you?

We planned to take over the world if I ever managed to clone myself a hundred times. I could do it on my own, but I'm too lazy.

Sounds like you'd be a lazy clone army then. Feels easily defeated, no?

Not if we're entertained enough. As long as the whole process of world domination is interesting and full of car chases. An explosion or two.

You can't dominate the world through car chases. [A moment of silence for Kitty Pryde's world where there was never a Fast & the Furious franchise.] Explosions are kind of fun though.

Not just car chases, though. Those are just to keep me entertained. That's the most important part.

Well, in that case you'll definitely want to throw in some high speed boat chases while you're at it. Maybe a helicopter chase?

Ooh, a helicopter chase. Maybe a helicopter chasing a boat chasing a car! [What are logistics]

I kind of want to get someone on foot in there too, but he probably got run over by the car by now. [She respects a good trail of nonsense.]

Perhaps he managed to distract the car driver and now they're all chasing the wrong person, and the person on foot is now stealthily hanging onto the helicopter being highly amused.

I've hung onto a helicopter before. It's less fun than it sounds.

Really? I've never met a helicopter hanger. What were you doing?
