Who: briony vincent
Broadcast: anyone. come at me.
Action: marsiva
When: 4/5, afternoon
[ None of this seems possible. In fact, it all seems like some crazy dream, maybe someone drugged her. But when pinching herself doesn't do more than leave her arm red and sore, Briony starts to wonder if maybe being drugged would be preferable to what is apparently reality. The really weird part is how much of it all makes sense to her. Space, the ships, how to work these weird machines... And she's never been much of a fan of science-fiction, either.
So she's communicating with folks now by use of those nifty communication stations, at least trying to look proper and like she doesn't want to throttle someone. ]
Alright, well...I don't quite know what I'm doing here, and I know someone's going to want to explain that, but you really don't have to do that because, well, I don't really care-- sorry.
[ She is so not sorry. ]
And I'd just rather know how to leave peacefully because I don't think anyone wants there to be trouble, right?
[ She looks like she's looking for something in a purse. Unfortunately, when she does pull out what she seemed to be looking for (a book), absolutely nothing happens. Thaaaat'll put a damper on things.
Just not her temper. ]
Oh, what-- this shit isn't funny at all!
[ Cutting the feed then. If any Marsiva folks are around, feel free to make fun of her. Or just watch out so you don't get hit by the book she's tossing behind herself with absolutely no thought given to who is around. ]

[She notices the girl searching in her bag, though, and raises an eyebrow.]
Did something get taken?
[ She...kind of smiles, but it's obvious she's more than a little frustrated with all this. ]
Something...they cleared out what they wanted. Left my train pass, but doesn't look like I'll be getting to use that anytime soon.
[ Still rifling through her stuff. ]
Oh, they let me keep my house key too, that's real goddamn useful right now.

[Alex gives a little smirk back, but her brow is a little furrowed.]
Who took it? I didn't think they did that here. Seemed pretty chill to me.

[ Oh good, they also left her makeup. ]
...who steals a lighter and leaves the cigarettes, anyway?
no subject
[A light with her wand, of course, since she doesn't have a lighter - though she's still dumb enough to think smoking's cool and doesn't want to say that.]

[ Frowns slightly. She could...really use a smoke right about now. ]

[hello, girl. there is a guy waving a little from over the video feed.]
Welcome to the fleet, ma'am.
video
[ Shrugs, taking another brief look around. ]
Least someone here's got manners, I appreciate that.

Why'd they take my shit, when can I get my shit back, am I getting paid for this, and...
[ Oh right, the other pressing issue. ]
I need a lighter too, they swiped mine.
video
[he's counting these off on his fingers. that last one...]
Not sure about the lighter. You might find one once you can get to a station.
video
[ This would be the part where a nicer person apologized, but...well, Briony isn't a nicer person, sadly. ]
They at least giving me money I can use? I have some from home, but I feel like they don't take it in fucking space.
[ Of all the times to not be able to smoke. ]
