[Hello, ladies. And gentlemen. And anyone in between, and anyone not any of the above. The video screen is currently showing a dripping wet, shirtless Lance. However, the baffled look on his face is enough to show that this isn't some kind of accidental broadcast of a racy video meant to be sent to one person.]

Okay, so, uh... I think I'm kind of in a pickle right now. Glitches happen here, right? I mean, obviously they do. I've never had them happen to me before, though. Buuuuuuut... So here I am, right as rain, having a totally normal day. Routine. Average. Nothing out of the ordinary. But then! Then I step into the shower--

[And he gestures around himself. He's obviously in one of the standard fleet shower stalls.]

Turn on the water, and, er... Fall. But I didn't trip, not exactly. Tripping implies you have legs to trip on.

[He tilts the camera lower on his body. Don't worry, he might be technically naked, but he's not flashing anyone. Instead of his usual long legs, he has a tail now, much like a fish's. It's a rich blue color, just as his armor is. Said tail gives a sad flop against the wet shower floor. He brings the camera back to his face. And in fact, if you look carefully, there's something much like gills on the sides of his neck.]

[Once he's actually not stuck in a shower stall, Lance is much happier. Especially now that he has the entire length of the Iskaulit pool to move freely in. It's taken him a little time to get used to how to swim with his new tail and breathe properly underwater, but now that he's gotten the hang of it, Lance is nothing short of exhilarated. After all, it's always been one of his dreams to be a merman. And now, he is! He'll think about all the logistics a little later, but this is something he's definitely going to take advantage of as long as this glitch lasts.

Come say hi! Swim with him! Admire his beautiful shiny blue merman tail!]

[Look, you may not have a cute otter, but you have an equally as cute merman to photograph! Lance grins up at him, spinning to lay on his back in the water, tail exposed as it slaps against the pool.]

Definitely new. Trust me, I would've totally mentioned before if I could do this on my own. I guess it's one of those glitches that happen around here.

Man. Everyone's been glitching lately. At least yours looks fun.

[He lowers himself down at the edge of the pool and starts the task of pulling off his boots and socks so he can at least dangle his feet in the water.]

Can you breathe underwater?

It's really fun! I'm kind of sad I don't have a whole ocean to swim in, but... At least I get the experience. And yep, I can breathe underwater!

[He grins and ducks back under the water before starting to swim laps back and forth. For several minutes. Definitely longer than a human can hold their breath. Eventually he surfaces again, smiling brightly.]

[A shame they weren't on a planet with water.

While Lance spends his time under water, Prompto fishes (haha) out his camera and mucks with the settings, getting in a few shots of Lance underwater. They don't turn out good due to the water's distortion. He snaps off a few more as soon as he resurfaces.]

That's really cool. But like, what do you do when you have to go to sleep?

[He does his best to look good for the camera when he notices Prompto taking pictures. After all, he's definitely going to want copies to put on the wall; he never wants to forget this. Not that he think he ever could.]

I...haven't really thought about that yet. I guess could sleep in the pool or something if anything, but that's a last resort. I'd rather stick to my bed.

[He's got you, bud. There will be lots of great shots for display.]

How will you get to your bed though? Do you have to stay wet?

Keith'll carry me. And that's a really good question. We're gonna be testing what happens if I dry out soon-- He has a theory that I might get my legs back, that the water's what transforms me.

[Shrug.]

That'd be mega convenient for not being stuck here, at least!

They wouldn't be that mean, right? People usually don't throw drinks in my face! I mean, there was that one time at a party back at the Garrison, but...

Good point. Especially 'cause that time I mentioned was because I guess some girl really hated my pickup line.
