Who: Remy and open.
Broadcast: Fleetwide.
Action: Planetside.
When: During planet stay.
[Action] Out and Exploring
[It was all too good to be true.
Everything about this planet was setting Remy’s sense on high, constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop and waiting for something to happen. But he wasn’t going to sit around for it to happen, he was going to go find it. He needed information before he could get even close to relaxing. After checking out the main strip of the town, unable to find anything remotely nefarious, bugs or cameras or anything, he starts working his way outwards.
Grabbing a less than cool scooter (really, why couldn’t there be a motorbike in this place?), though picking out at least a color he liked, Remy started exploring the outskirts. Going between houses and stopping off at them now and then to investigate.]
[Video/Action] Stake(Steak)out
[Finding no satisfying answers with the houses and a way to explain the lack of any life in the city, Remy decides he wants to try and tackle another issue: how this place was ‘respawning’ everything. And that called for a stakeout.
Which he hated.
He always hated stakeouts. They were boring. You had to concentrate rather than try and past time, and for someone who had to move, had to talk, had to find a way to occupy his time, they were always tough for Remy.
There were two ways he was trying to counter this: first, he had set up his com to record everything, settling it on the counter to try and cover as much of the store as possible, both to review in case he felt he missed something and to offer to anyone who may be staying up as stupidly late as he was. The second was he was occupying himself to keep from getting bored. Having settled on one of the food shops for this experiment, Remy made the most of the food within it. Though this resulted not only in being able to snack as he wanted, but also making forts and houses out of canned food, or deciding to experiment with different food items, as much as he could without having any way to cook stuff up at least.
Anyone is welcome to join him, either in person, or over the feed he is putting out for those who want to see it from the comfort of their beds or ships.]
[Action/Video] Stocking up
[Suspicious or not, Remy is not going to miss out on the chance with all the options this planet had. He worked on restocking his wardrobe, grabbing whatever caught his eye and that matched to his typical fashion choices, as well as a few pieces for his cats and some other entertainment items. Books, tools, whatever and everything he wanted from the planet.
And of course, he was making the most of the food, even if they all do have that slight citrus taste... It was always amazing to get access to perishables, stuff that wouldn’t last between stops or planets that didn’t stock what he wanted. And there was a good way to help counter that: preserving. Claiming one of the kitchens close to a food store, Remy spends a chunk of time working on making up items that can be stored on the ships or at the restaurants on the Iskaulit, as well as offering it to said people if they wanted.]
Crowley, Jarvis, [He addresses over the com, putting it out there even if they aren’t listening. He’s set up the com so he can speak to it despite his hands being busy cleaning up something that pretty much is a tomato in taste and appearance.] Am makin’ up some stuff that might work for ya’ll places, if ya want them will drop off a bunch when I get them back to the ships. ‘nd know ya will want them Nami. I got a few new ideas to put on the menu after we leave this place, just will have to make room in storage for everything, but should last us a good time. Never know when goin’ to get produce like this ‘gain.

You know, that's not a bad idea! I might turn a nice profit from that.
Video
If ya decide to do that I do expect a cut of the profits. Nothin' major, since I ain't the one puttin' effort 'nto runnin' it. 'nd doesn't have to be monetary, maybe free drinks at Málum for rest of m' stay at the Fleet?
Video
Sure, why not, I can throw free drinks your way. Seems fair for all your efforts.
[Half the Fleet don't get charged, so it's less special than he's making it out to be.]
Video
Though he tended to do that half the time anyways.]
Put me down for radiation if ya go 'head with it. Considerin' the animals that be 'round this place, I think it a safe bet. Just really hopin' we arrived at a time that it's effects have long passed.
Video
That's pretty much the best hope. I mean, if you croaked from it, they'd bring you back, but it's not a pleasant way to go, from what I've seen, so best avoid it.
Video
[Thanks for putting that thought into his head, Crowley.]
Are ya even affected by stuff like that?
Video
[YOU'RE WELCOME, FRIEND :D ]
Radiation? No. Also death in general would be a no, for the most part.
Video
Or more the case that he tried not to think about it. That was much easier than questioning.] It happens, just nice to have spare lives, though I try not to throw m' current one away on just 'nything.
Well, good for ya, if 'nything happens to us mortals on the Fleet, can be sure to leave ya to sweep up the pieces at least. Since all ya staff would be dead.
Video
[Because fate if a fucking asshole. ]
It would be truly tragic. I'd put little memorials of you all about the bar and weep for your loss.
[He's being sarcastic but he probably would.]
Video
Video
I don't know, I've had experience with zombies and they're really not all that great when it comes to following instruction.
Video
Need to find a way to wire them up or something then, like one of those dog shock collars. 'nytime they do something wrong, ya zap them 'nd see if they learn. 'ssumin' they got a system still functionin' to register those shocks.
Or, since ya like the idea of profits from gamblin', create a zombie race. Line them up on a track 'nd take bids for who gets to the end the fastest. [Because all of this was totally realistic and logical, not just mindless blathering for the sake of talking.]
Video
You never know, the very next one we come across might just have that.
Ooooh, I like that idea. Turning a profit on something is always worth the time.
Video
Not that BSin' up money makin' ideas be in m' normal set of skills I sell, but sure I can add them onto m' non-existent CV for the right occasions.
Video
[Make your living space fancy, Remy. Enjoy wealth and whatnot. ]
You never know when you need to dazzle people with them, after all.
Video
But on the Fleet he was still getting his funds back together, losing them after his little vanishing that wiped all his currency and items he had stocked up on.] 'nd while the niceties of life be, well, nice, can do without as well. [And Remy's done that too. You didn't have luxury when you grew up on the street, survival was always more important.] Find life more for fun than pilin’ up the credits.
Video
[Also the accent. People probably love the accent. ]
Definitely. Your lives are so very, very short, other-world-enforced-immortality notwithstanding. You should enjoy them while you can.
Video
Other than that one time I got killed on that planet, but hey, we do have 'do overs' here. [That would be nice to have back home.]
Video
[He gives a soft scoff. He doesn't like talking about deaths that happened here, much like he didn't like it in Paradisa. Or...honestly, back home on Earth. ]
Well, yes. Though I do worry about the eventual cost of those. I doubt Atroma are doing it out of pure altruism.
Video
Maybe a good night that don't wake up in the mornin' from, who knows. [Death was never fun, but was inevitable for most. Remy just wanted to delay it as long as he could.] 'nd ain't goin' to turn down a second chance. [Plus Remy had done all that question of how and why back in Luceti when they brought the dead back, on the Fleet he was just grateful for it.]
Video
[The concept has always been a strange one for Crowley. He knows mortals die, it's the one absolute they live by- it's right there in the name. He's seen countless of them go, in all kinds of ways, peaceful, violent, slow and quick. But he's always been a spectator to it. He won't ever die, not properly, it's not something he's had to consider. How he'd want to punch his clock. ]
Suppose if you had a choice in that matter, it's not a bad pick.
Video
Before Remy thought of something else.] 'nd hopefully no hell afterwards, 've broken far too many commandments to not end up there. Which be all the funnier considerin' who I sayin' this to, non? [That was a funny thought now... less so if it happened.] Maybe not with m' world at least.
Video
I think hoping not to end up in Hell is a very good thought. No one wants to be there. That said, Heaven's pretty shit, too. Whichever way you're pretty fucked and no one there will give a shit about you.
So basically, enjoy life while you have it.
Video
Though that did feel a little sad having to outlive friends.
Then again, that would assume Remy would ever leave, or want to leave, the Fleet.] Or need to start eatin' better 'nd doing, I donno, yoga or something.
Video
[He's at least learned to not dismiss other religions out of hand. You come across enough Gods and you learn to just let sleeping dogs lie in that one. ]
Oh, sure. Yoga is absolutely gonna do it.
