[Action on the Marsiva]

[Waking up with no memory in strange places is not something Lucina is known for. Certainly, she's done a lot of crazy things in her time, but pulling something like her mother and brother? Not a chance. A few minutes of searching proves that Falchion is missing, as are the tomes, staves and lances she would use in battle. In fact, she's completely defenseless.

And she hates it.

What she does find is the butterfly mask she borrowed from Gerome all those weeks and months ago and she wastes no time slipping it on and pulling her hair up to hide the length. She knows it might be useless, considering she's obviously been kidnapped and her belongings pilfered. Still, it gives her some comfort as she tries to get her bearings. Until her fingers come across a strange...thing in her hair line.]

Who is in charge here?!

[After her outburst, she is stalking through the entirety of this strange ship, processing what she knows from her actual world, the past and the strange knowledge about the things she's never seen before a day in her life. And she's looking for anyone there to get some answers.]

[Yep, she sure is wearing her mask still and she's managed to figure out how to use the devices while stuck on the Marsiva.]

I've read some of the messages you've traded with one another. Going back further than a few months means absolutely nothing. What I want to know is who are these Atroma and have you yet determined their base?

Planetside

[The moment that Lucina's feet hit the deserted streets of Nariba Relia, she's searching the shops for anything to use as a weapon. She doesn't trust any of the other people in the Fleet yet. (She doesn't see a reason to do so.) And without Falchion, she feels too vulnerable.

Her first stop is in one of the many shops, hefting different objects to see if she likes the weight. Even if she can't find a sword, she can use almost anything as a lance.

After she's satisfactorily geared, Lucina isn't afraid to peruse the shops to find clothes and things to take back with her. (SOMEONE STOP HER FROM TRYING TO MIX PATTERNS, PLEASE!)

Once the shopping is over, she's out to inspect the rest of the world. The theme park and movie theater don't really interest her, but she's not above being convinced to at least try them out if someone's persuasive enough.]

No, not really. There are special corps that train to fight on the back of such animals. Most people still rely on caravans and travelling by foot to reach other towns and cities, unless a boat or ship is necessary. That's why all of this seems a bit... odd.

I suppose so, but I have a feeling that you might adjust easier on my world than I could on yours.

Although, if she has enough time to chat, perhaps she should be sharpening one of the ones she has so that she can ready it to add it to the tip of the pole she's acquired. Instant lance. Time to get to that since she's there.]

[Morgan is a good kid and means really well. He's just...overly helpful and enthusiastic. Poor Sumia and Cynthia.]

Oh, I'm sure if he's given enough time, he'll figure out something. [She shakes her head in amusement.] I feel sorry for his shipmates if he finds molasses.

He's studying under our mother to be a tactician, so he has a habit of finding new things to do with mundane, everyday items. The last time he had his hands on molasses, he managed to trap our enemy in it.

[She sighs, remembering that battle.]

Wouldn't that have required a substantial amount of it to be effective?

[where the heck would one even find that much molasses at once...]

[How Morgan even found that much, she's not sure.]

It seems he got some of our other friends to help him in that endeavor. He can be oddly charming when he wants to be.

[Since molasses is used in sweets... okay, that was kind of an absurd comment, he just doesn't know how to respond to molasses traps. Anyway-]

Are you the tactical sort as well?

[It's no easier for her and she was there! The fact that it worked is what still gets her, but then again, her brother and mother are pretty great at their roles of tactician for both groups.]

No, I'm more martial, like our father. He favors our mother. Although, our roles change in battle from time to time. [She frowns, missing her weapons a great deal now.] It doesn't matter since even if I were to switch roles, I lack the right equipment to make it worthwhile.

...Hmm. Same as me, then.

[Not so much incapable of forming tactics as preferring to leave it to more skilled parties. There's something to be said about the comfortable security of middle management.]

I'm on the lookout for experienced fighters to practice with, if you find a need for that.

[She's not surprised to hear that at all. Yet another shared trait with Gerome that she can muse over later.]

I would be a fool to turn down the chance to train with a competent opponent. What ship do you crew?

[He thinks briefly of the Blameless - and the whole 50% of the people there he knows, most of whom he's either annoyed with or feels ambivalent of - and shrugs his shoulders.]

You'll most likely find me on the Bloodsport.

[Messer, that's now how you do crews.]

The Bloodsport. It sounds ominous. If you wish to find me, I am normally on the Heron. Or the Caprine, attempting to save my brother's crew from his "assistance".

[Yeah sorry he didn't pick it.]

[A pause, and then he offers a hand out.]

[She didn't pick hers either. She hasn't really made many friends either, so don't you worry about that!

She looks down at his hand before slowly taking it. She doesn't need help getting up, so this must be some form of greeting she's not aware of. What is she supposed to do? Stand here and hold it until they depart? Awk-ward.]

[Don't worry Lucina, he's not a fan of awkwardness either. The hold lasts only long enough for him to her give hand a solid shake and then he releases, straightening up and gathering his knives. He gives her an acknowledging nod.]

[She's going to have to get used to that. But she does return the head nod and follows it with an actual smile.]
