[intro] | What's this?
[Action - Marsiva]
[This isn't the first time that Morgan's woken up somewhere strange without any memory of how he got there, but it doesn't make it any less distressing.]
[Think, Morgan, think! What would Mother do in a situation like this? First would probably be taking inventory. He had his memories of his friends and family, so at least that wasn't a total loss. And then, he can't tell whether or not this is enemy territory, so...proceed with caution?]
[Anybody who is on the Marsiva at the same time as Morgan will see what is clearly a lost child, if they want to lend him a hand.]
[Action - S.S. Caprine]
Whoa!
[And then, he's whisked away somewhere else, only this time with confetti! This is only slightly less disorienting than before, and Morgan still has his guard up.]
[Which isn't to say he's not going to explore the ship, because he absolutely is. From the kitchen, to the engine room, to the private quarters, he's doing his best to familiarize himself with this ship. Even if he's not letting his guard down, there's another part of him that can't deny how cool this is.]
[S.S. Caprine, meet your new engineer, he's basically a kid in a candy store.]
[Broadcast]
Hello? Hello? Can anyone hear me?
[After hearing about the network, he can't stop himself from trying it out. It sounded pretty far-fetched, but considering he's already in space, he shouldn't be surprised when his broadcast actually goes through.]
This works? Awesome!
[Anybody tuning in will see a smiling, blue-haired boy waving from the other end.]
Hello everyone, my name is Morgan, and I'm new here! I thought it'd be a good idea to introduce myself.
I don't know much about space, but this place seems pretty cool! All of this technology is way more advanced than what we have back home. [Not that he's taking notes.]
I've still got a ton of questions about this place, too, but I'm probably not the only one. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone here!

THAT IS OKAY I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE
[If he was the death, that was still a little odd. But to each their own?]
That's interesting. I thought these things were made to work with humans, but it looks like they can also affect skeletons, too. I wonder how they work.
YEY
[He keeps stirring, and draws out a fuller ladle of soup. There are carrots and celery and a bit of meat mixed in.]
SO IT WOULD SEEM, ALTHOUGH I AM NOT A NORMAL SKELETON. INCIDENTALLY, WOULD YOU MIND TRYING A SIP OF THIS FOR ME? I LACK TASTE BUDS AND WANT TO MAKE SURE IT'S GOOD FOR EATING BEFORE SHARING IT WITH THE REST OF THE CREW.

[Morgan understands, but he has a hard time wrapping his head around it. Why would Death be a short order cook?]
[Stranger things have happened, he supposes.]
Sure, I'll taste it! It's not going to kill me or anything, right?

Death holds his hand under the ladle as he brings it closer to Morgan.]
IT'S MEANT TO BE A SIMPLE CHICKEN SOUP RECIPE. SHOULD THIS PROVE TO BE ACCEPTABLE, I'LL ADD NOODLES NEXT TIME.
no subject
[And actually, it is! He tastes the soup, and is left with no mortal wounds to speak of.]
Hey, this is really good!

I SHALL HAVE TO LET THE REST OF THE CREW KNOW IMMEDIATELY. GOOD SOUP IS SOON WASTED IF THERE ARE NO STOMACHS TO PARTAKE IN IT.
