[Felix has a secret fondness for melodramatic nonsense like this, thanks in part to Phoebe exposing him to daytime television back in Paradisa. That, and in some ways it wasn't all that different from some of plays he'd been to over the years.

Quietly ensconced in his seat, he doesn't notice, at first, that there's popcorn in his hair until he shifts, spilling a few buttery kernels over his shoulder. At which point he turns to glare over his shoulder at the responsible party]

I beg your pardon...

[ A magic-user. Loki can sense him easily. He's not particularly deterred from being an asshole though as he munches on the remainder of his popcorn.

Have what? Potential stains?

[Exasperated, he brushes another bit of popcorn off his shoulder? How long had Loki been at that before he'd noticed?]

[ Loki's amusement is clear as he keeps eating. ]

Oh, well...how fortunate for me. I can die happy.

[He turns back to the screen a moment, chasing away the last few specks of food he can find in the dark.]

[ Dying happy isn't something that happens to just anyone. ]

[He sighs loudly]

Likely not...

[Which is depressingly honest.]

Though one might argue that anyone Atroma has decided to pick isn't possessed of a multitude of luck.

[ Loki shrugs. ]

Do you think it's that simple? That you were picked?

Nothing is that simple. There is merely evidence to suggest that some of us are marked in some way, to be pulled here and there between universes. The alternative is to say that it's merely fate, but fate can be directed or changed. Something is responsible for guiding their hand, in a manner of speaking.

Wonderful. And no one knows what or who it is?

Not with any certainty.

[There's a beat, as he turns back to the screen for a moment, to try to catch up on what he's missed.]
