Not really. At least, not up to my standards. I picked up a few basics things so I don't have to wear the jumpsuit, but nothing really popped out of me.

But there's always the next stop.

[ Loki clicks his tongue. No wonder Thor has been going stir-crazy. For many, visiting new planets would be amazing. Even special. For them, it was nothing. ]

[she's sort of right there with them. This was far out of her element, sure, but it wasn't all too exciting, either. Though meeting aliens was kind of cool, maybe]

Mmm. Hopefully it's a nice one. When I got here, some of the ships had been shot down.

What? Shot down how?

From the planet, with anti-aircraft weaponry, I believe. Some of the ships - you can still see a bit of damage left over.

I don't think anyone died, but it was a little crazy when I arrived.

[ Hmm. He'll have to dig up the records. ]

What was the reason?

That I don't know. When I first arrived, I was more concerned with other things.

[like whether or not she'd have to put an act on or not] But someone on your ship likely knows. Or it's on the network.

Such as?

[ He'll ask around. Or at least disguise his inquiries well enough to. ]

Such as whether or not I had to hide what I am. Humans can be tricky.

[a shrug]

[ He had noticed, but it was rude to mention. . . . Also he would have mentioned it if the conversation went south. ]

A huge lion-like cat with an elephant's nose. When the Gods created me, they used parts they had left over after making the animals.

How did they run out?

[ Seriously how does that work? ]

Well, they'd finished already, so it wasn't running out so much as - using what was left. [she shrugs] I didn't ask for specifics, and now the story changes depending on who you ask.

[ Huh. ]

Do you need to dream-walk constantly?

No, only when I need to eat. And dreams keep me sustained for a while.

Though I do use the dream realm to travel back home.

Would you be willing to tell me more about it?

[ Perhaps he could extend his abilities further. ]

If you'd like me to, sure. It isn't as though it's a huge secret.

[she pulls a blouse from the racks, looking it over with an interested look]

Do you dream-walk? I'm not too familiar with Asgard's Gods, since it's completely outside of my territory.

[ Loki hesitates. ]

I have a few notable mental abilities.

[she notes the hesitation, faintly amused. She takes the blouse she picked out and sets it aside before turning to him completely]

I am Loki. God of Mischief.

[she actually means it too. It's always nice to meet someone she recognizes, even if they may not be from her world]

[ He drawls. ]
