[Mon-El is out and about on the planet when he comes across a very unusual lifeform even for someone like him who has traveled extensively. It looks like the antelope of Earth, but there are five of them that appear conjoined with just an unreasonable amount of horns. He fills the frame of the broadcast with the creature as it has a snack.]

Are you all as disturbed by this as I am? Maybe this is what ate all the people who were here.

[The place may be a little creepy, but what’s not to love about trying out the different rides? He gives everything a try but the roller coaster is his favorite. You can see him enjoying himself on that until it almost inevitably gets stuck. Instead of waiting for it to start working again he just hops down from really high in the air and lands on his feet like it was nothing.

He’s also sampling all the fair foods and occasionally tucking some away for Kara. Is it sad or awesome to see someone double fisting a corn dog and a funnel cake? You might get a somewhat muffled greeting if he sees you while he’s trying to swallow. Just classy prince stuff here.]

[With an amazing flailing display of pinwheeling arms and kicking legs; Vash throws himself backwards onto the ground. With a loud squawking scream added for good measure as his butt violently meets the ground.]

[Asked casually from the ground. He’ll get up in a moment. Maybe.]

[Gosh! Pinwheeling man! But instead of falling backward Mon-El just watches with widened eyes.]

[He reaches down to offer Vash a hand up.]

Are you okay? I didn't mean to startle you.

[He doesn't really need it, but Vash takes the offered hand to help him jump back up onto his feet.]

Yeah. I'll be fine. [He looks up towards the top of the roller coaster.] I don't remember jumping being apart of this ride.

[It's the least he can do for overpowering him with his rugged masculinity. Or falling from the sky. One of those things.]

I decided to improvise when the ride shut down. If that's part of it they could really work on their pacing.

Eh? It got stuck? Huh, good thing it was you. I don't know what someone who couldn't jump would have to do. You know, besides be stuck forever.

There was a new lizard-looking person who said he got stuck on a ride and just waited for several hours and it started again. I guess that's another way to do it. I told him he could have just called the network for help.

[goldenglasses]

Yeah, he should have called out. There are enough hero types among the fleet that someone would have been able to get him out of there in no time.

I know I would have yelled for help. Pretty sure Nami wouldn't accept being stuck on a contraption of terror and fearing for my life as a good reason to miss work. [He's kidding of course.]

That's what I said. I think Kara would have enjoyed it. Maybe I should have called her for help just now. [His girlfriend misses heroing.]

Nami runs a tight ship. [Nodding seriously.]

You could go back up and get stuck again.

I could, but I think she'd figure me out. And if she didn't she'd probably be more worried than pleased.

Oh well. Just remember that the next time that you get stuck. To call for help instead of saving yourself.

[He nods in agreement and then looks thoughtful.] This has a fun anti-empowerment vibe to it. I used to never think about being the one to save myself.

Well, when you have a friend who likes hero-ing you have to think of their feelings too! [Don't listen to Vash kids. Getting yourself into potentially dangerous situations to please someone is never wise.]
