[Mon-El is out and about on the planet when he comes across a very unusual lifeform even for someone like him who has traveled extensively. It looks like the antelope of Earth, but there are five of them that appear conjoined with just an unreasonable amount of horns. He fills the frame of the broadcast with the creature as it has a snack.]

Are you all as disturbed by this as I am? Maybe this is what ate all the people who were here.

[The place may be a little creepy, but what’s not to love about trying out the different rides? He gives everything a try but the roller coaster is his favorite. You can see him enjoying himself on that until it almost inevitably gets stuck. Instead of waiting for it to start working again he just hops down from really high in the air and lands on his feet like it was nothing.

He’s also sampling all the fair foods and occasionally tucking some away for Kara. Is it sad or awesome to see someone double fisting a corn dog and a funnel cake? You might get a somewhat muffled greeting if he sees you while he’s trying to swallow. Just classy prince stuff here.]

[Go at it like a TROOPER, Mon-El. Sokka watches, an intense look on his face, scoping out the competition. He's so going to use syrup but the hand thing is a good idea. ]

[One pile after another goes down. The first two feel natural. Delicious even! By the time he finishes he's not really full, but it feels awkward to be forcing himself to eat so quickly. But quickly he does and before you know it he's tossing his hands up in triumph and mumbling as he finishes his final bite trying to say.]

Finished! [But it sounds more like "Fschwinshed!"]

[He slams his thumb down on the clock and raises it for Mon-El to see. ]

Not bad time, my friend, not bad time. But now, it's my turn.

[This is absolutely how he's going to die. He tosses the timer to Mon-El, grabs his knife and fork and nods. ]

Right. HIT ME.

[Mon-El holds his thumb over the timer, ready to start it as soon as the appointed time comes and the room resets itself, refilling the giant stack of pancakes—all fresh and new and waiting to be eaten. He kind of wants to go for the second stack too, but that would defeat the purpose here!]

Ready, set, EAT! [The timer is going, so you should be too, Sokka!]

[And off he goes, eating as much as he can fit into his mouth. He DOES use syrup, to help the delicious pancakes go down. Of course, he's pretty much just cutting chunks out of piles of pancakes and dipping them into the syrup to coat it, but that counts too right?

He's going to regret this later, but that's for Future Sokka to deal with. ]

[Pouring and cutting and chewing? Dude, that is just going to cost you!]

We're coming up on my time. [Watching as the seconds tick past.]

[Sokka glances up as Mon-El speaks, with his cheeks bulging from excess amounts of food in his mouth. His eyes narrow, and he starts trying to ram as much food down his gullet as he can without choking himself in the progress.

Inevitably, he doesn't manage to eat it all in time before he passes Mon-El's time. He drops his cutlery with a (muffled) whine of defeat. ]

Awwww nwwwwooooooooo

[Mon-El jumps up with his fist in the air and then with all the maturity of royalty shouts,] WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

[Ahem.

Then he offers a hand to Sokka to shake.] Good game!

[He has made Daxam proud this day. Sokka takes his defeat well, taking Mon-El's hand and shaking it. ]

Good game, good game. I bow to your superior eating abilities.
