It's... mostly whatever, truth be told. There are general rules of courtesy- don't use all the hot water, don't be greedy with the rations, don't start fights with your crewmates. Don't try to blow a hole in the hull, obviously.

Not very, I'm afraid. One of our former residents was working towards soundproofing his room, but I don't know how far he got with it, or if the modification would even carry over after he left. The fleet's weird like that.

This may be a small consolation to you, but we seraphim don't actually need to sleep. If you find yourself awake at night and in need of company, we might at least be able to offer you that.

Uh - nah, I think I'm good now. I'm all out of questions - if you just wanna - leopard-gesture me towards a free room and the direction of the kitchen, I think I can figure out the rest.

Mikleo glances over at the cat, still idly grooming himself, and it clicks.]

Ah- here.

[The kitten is abruptly, invisibly lifted into the air, where he stares wide-eyed at Ben as his little paws are pointed first in one direction, then another.]

Down that hall are the bunks. The ones occupied are already labeled, so just pick whichever one is empty. And that hall heads towards the kitchen, pass one intersection and take a left. It's open so you can't miss it.

[Happy exploring! The cat's paw waves.]

[his lips twitch into something almost a smile at the gesturing. When he's done, Ben reaches out, careful as can be, to give the leopard a little scritch (with the fake hand, because he ain't dumb)]

Got it. Thanks for talk, hopefully you won't be invisible to me for too long, or however the hell it works.

[He's wise to do so, because the kitten is a playful one to begin with, and the aggravation of being unceremoniously lifted means he's going to grab and chew on whatever gets close to his face.

Mikleo chuckles briefly, though he does try to juggle the cat away from clawing too aggressively.]

I'm sure it'll be fine. And if not, we have ways around the inconvenience.

—whoa, hey, you'll break a tooth gnawing on that. And I need this thing working, thanks. [he's careful as he tries to extract his hand, though in no rush, either - surely the leopard will learn really quick that chewing on metal isn't fun]

Yeah, that's true. There's always a work around.

[Kitten doesn't seem to mind, so Mikleo hastily puts an end to the chewing, tucking him back up on his shoulders. That hand doesn't look like a good thing to be chewing on, and he doesn't need to try and invisibly take a leopard to the vet.]
