Excuse me? Hello! Ah... [She was excited that she finally got her line working to the fleet, but now that she's actually addressing everyone she feels a bit nervous. But she wants to help, and that overrides any nerves that are buzzing around]

My name is Colette Brunel. I just arrived the other day, and I saw... [she pauses, worried] I saw the attack that happened. I'm sorry to ask for help at a time like this, but I'm not sure how to get off of the ship that I'm currently on. If I can leave, I'd like to come and help on the ships that were hurt.

I think-- [it feels strange to say, and doesn't quite feel real] that I understand how to fix some of those ships. I'm not sure how, but I can see some of the damage from here.

So, I hope I can help! And if there's anything that I can do in the meantime before I leave this ship, please let me know.

[mm, she nibbles a bit on her lower lip as if she's not sure if she should say more, but she'll end it there. She feels bad asking for help before she's actually helped anyone, but she has looked all over this ship and hasn't been able to find a way to leave]

Well... I think I'm lucky! There are quite a few other people on this ship, and they all helped me figure out how to use this thing.

[she tilts her head and smiles at the camera] And I think I would have been scared if I was on one of the ships that was being attacked. But you're still here, and talking to me! I think that's really brave.

Um, no, I...

[This is going nowhere fast, huh?]

...I'm glad you were safe on the Marsiva. It's enough that those on the other ships were attacked.

Mm... does anyone know why they left this ship alone? Is it really different from the others?

I don't know. The Marsiva is closed off to anybody besides those who've just arrived, but I don't think attackers would care about that.

It's so big, and it seems like there's a lot here that we can't get to. [like they're just milling around on a small portion]

Maybe the rest of the ship has something important? Or... dangerous?

I wouldn't be surprised if there was. But I don't know what...I didn't have long to look around there before I was put on the Huntress, so I don't even remember everything that you could see if you tried.

Hm.. then, I'll try to look around really well and find everything that I can before I have to leave!

Maybe I'll be able to visit your ship? What is it like?

It's a little bigger than the space you have on the Marsiva, or at least it feels that way. There's more to do - there's a lab for Chris and me, and an armory for Varric and Cullen, and we've filled it more with other things over the past few months.

[More comfortable, that way. Shirley may or may not have invested some time and money into making it so.]

That sounds really cozy. [she says it in a wistful way. And she pauses at the mention of a 'lab', but her brain fills in for her what that means]

Are you a healer?

I am! They focus more on using medicine here, but I am able to use healing eres. Can you do something like that, too?

[ah, she shakes her head]

No, I've never been able to use magic. But my Professor could! She was really amazing, and I've always admired her!

Oh, maybe she would get along with Will. He's a friend of mine - he's a natural historian when he's not helping run the town, and he's able to heal as well.

You're right! They sound like they'd be really good friends!

[hehe, she laughs sheepishly] I wish I was better in History, but I was never very good at it in school.

Really? I never went to school, but the people in my village made sure to teach me a lot of history.

That sounds really nice... so that the legacy of your village always lives on?

Not the village, but our people as a whole. The village chief considered it important to know.

I see.

[hm...] So, if you didn't go to school, were you able to learn everything that you needed to know from the other villagers? Not just history?

I learned enough to get by. There's a lot I still have to learn, but I'm doing what I can to do just that.

[It's...enough, so far.]
