Who: Anders and the empty room, anyone else
Broadcast: Yes
Action: SS Tourist, if desired
When: Day after the shuffle
[It had hardly taken long to piece it together. He woke up alone, without the warmth of another person nearby. Opening his eyes revealed that the room was back to the size it had been before they'd merged their quarters and the bed really only had enough room for him and the three sleeping snow kittens.
It didn't matter that all of Wolfe's things were still littered around the room, what mattered was the absence of the man himself. He rarely left in the morning without telling Anders something.
He didn't even bother checking to see if he could send a message to Hawke once Anders spotted the ring he had offered Hawke nearly two weeks ago.
It took him a moment to gather himself, but, quietly, he did and checked the communicator just to make sure. How silly of him to even feel surprised or expect anything different.]
To those that knew him, Adalwolfe Hawke is no longer on the fleet.
It appears the same is true of Marian Hawke.
If anyone has any business left unsettled with either of them, please feel free to let me know and I will do my best to help.
[It hadn't taken long to find both missing when he tried to send a message to 'Hawke' and found no Hawkes listed in the fleet. He'd quickly followed up with checking some of the others as well, but it seemed most of everyone was still around. Mostly. Everyone from Kirkwall was gone except him.
He hesitated before adding:]
Fenris is gone as well.

So he feels that the least he can do is...reply.]
Though we do not know each other, I wish to extend my condolences for your losses. It is never an easy thing to endure.

But it was certainly nice. Like a lifeline thrown from an unknown direction. Unknown and unimportant for what the sentiment offered.]
Thank you, I truly appreciate it.
It seems silly to mourn for them. One of them is going back to a life I know he finds at least somewhat satisfying, though I don't believe he desired to leave here. The other is going home to someone she loves and who loves her.

This is what your own heart is needing now and I don't believe you should be faulted for that.

But I understand your meaning. And appreciate it as well.
[There's a pause. He's not a sharer, really, unless necessaryto the situation; he prefers half-truths and statements that make light of the things hurting. but he's also not one to pull punches on emotions or thruths when in the mood. Emotions, truths and mood all seemed to mix together in this one, so he isn't surprised when he finds himself sending another message to follow the last.]
The third missing, Adalwolfe Hawke, was my lover.
I suspect it will take longer for him, although I have both less and more reason to mourn him. At least I will see him again if I'm ever sent back.

Somehow it almost feels more painful that way. To not even know when he'll be brought back together with him. The man he wants to be with.
They're strangers but he finds himself empathizing so strongly with the other.]
I understand what this loss is like. I have had similar circumstances happen to me and was even pulled here away from the man I love.
Though we are but strangers, should you require a drinking companion, I will offer my company. I likely will not reach intoxication but I can promise not to judge you for whatever state you might end up in.

I'm sorry Atroma has done that to you. I hope you can see him again soon. [There was little else worse than being parted from the person who held your heart.]
I just might take you up on your offer. I've a strong constitution, so it might be nice to drink with someone who can match me for most of the night.
For the record, I'm Anders. So that we can stop being strangers.

I'm Sandalio de Rabiffano. I wish we could have met under better circumstances, Mr. Anders. All the same, I would still be more than willing to share drinks with you. You need only call and I will come.

Well met, Ser Rabiffano. I'll send you a message once I've run out of the stuff that's been brought to me so I can treat you and your kindness to a night out.
