Decorating Madness...

Who: Sandalio and anyone on the Blameless (living or visiting)
Broadcast: N/A
Action: Blameless
When: Starting today and continuing onward for probably a few weeks so you can catch him anytime during then

[Getting used to a new lifestyle has been a challenge that has been made more difficult by the fact that he doesn't have his pack here. Nor his mate who also happens to be his Beta. Without that balancing force and without so much as a job to do he can slowly feel himself getting...twitchy. Which means that he falls back on the most comforting thing in his life and the thing he obviously does the best.

The unfortunate victim? The SS Blameless.

It starts off small. The dishes get replaced for real ones. The quality of tea goes up. A piece of art comes to decorate a wall or table to make things more homey. However, it doesn't stop there. Oh no. The werewolf is in full takeover now and he's going to make this the finest looking ship in the fleet if it kills him.

Should you be one of the crew you can expect him to show up to discuss how to improve the look of your quarters or even the look of your work station. Should you be someone visiting well you can be sure to find the shortest crew member of the Blameless moving about fixing things up.

And yes. He did put welcome mats in front of the cargo hold doors and the shuttle bay doors. What about it? Just because he's not a commanding officer doesn't mean he can't manage something.]

As long as the space remains practical for the storage and use of weapons, I do not object to decoration.

[Justice isn't much of an interior decorator himself, but he does find beauty and charm in mortal creativity. Decoration is a natural extension of that.]

I will go with you if you wish, but I doubt my input would be valuable.

[Justice considers for a moment before nodding.] Very well.

[He stands, arms still full of purring snow leopard, and walks towards the armory.] I would first recommend that you do not put anything flammable in the armory, nor anything delicate.

[The day Justice smiles is the day hell freezes over. But when the man smiles at him, the corners of Justice's eyes do soften slightly. It's a subtle change, but a change nonetheless.]

I defer to your expertise on style. I do not have a mind for interior decorating, though I do appreciate the creativity it displays.

[Justice has a soft spot for mortal creativity. Spirits aren't creative.]

Do you find the ship stressful to be in?

[Justice knows that everything the man is putting up feels like sadness, but he still hasn't quite put his finger on where the sadness is coming from inside of him.]

I see. Sometimes staying busy helps me as well when I am upset.

[The fact that he shows enough awareness to actually express empathy is pretty huge for him, and is just a sign of how many (many) months of teaching him his friends have poured in.

As they enter the armory, Justice waves an arm to gesture at the gray walls.]

What would you like to do with the space?
