time to be heroic or something
Who: Ochako & you!
Broadcast: Yes!
Action: Yes!!
When: Now and throughout the week
( starstruck )
[The camera clicks on to Ochako, who is in full costume for once! Sans the helmet, at least for now. It's tucked under her arm. She shuffles from foot to foot, waves, and then bows slightly.]
Hello everyone! I have a request. Would any of the fleet's engineers be able to make something for me? Like, um. Rocket-y? I heard about there being a jetpack a while back... so something like that is what I'm looking for. And if you know anybody who can do that sort of thing, please ask for me! All I know is maintenance, so I'm kinda useless when it comes to making cool gear... I can collect parts, though, if you need anything from the planet!
Oh, and I'm not asking for free! I can pay if you want money... well I don't have a lot but maybe I could pay over time? I can also cook for you and your ship, or bring my little bots over to clean, or... we can work something out!
[She pauses to think for a moment, puzzling over what she might have forgotten, and then-]
Right! The other thing! Is there anybody with super-strength who can help me practice? I want to try a few things that I can't do on my own.
Thanks, everybody!

[Ochako's in overdrive today! And all week, really. She's discovered the parkour course and is running through it, over and over, only taking small breaks between to catch her breath and get a drink. She's practicing activating and cancelling her Quirk in quick succession, using her temporary moments of weightlessness to launch herself into higher jumps over the equipment than her small legs would normally allow.
Sure, it means once in a while she loses control and faceplants spectacularly, but that's what practice is for!
When she isn't practicing, she'll be wandering around the Iskaulit, poking her head into rooms less-often visited to see what's changed, or tidying up the art therapy room she likes to visit since it's been mostly abandoned for a while now. She'll be all over at sporadic times.]

Send away!

[and here's coordinates to some random isolated part of the city, near the opposite outskirts of where most of the ships landed.]
Laaaaaaaaaaaate
[Of course, it's actually going to be a bit before he does show up. And when he does, it's not via shuttle or even web-swinging, because the bigger buildings gave way to houses quite a ways back.
No he's just running and jumping across rooftops, and has to stop to catch his breath once he finds her. He can keep up with the best when it comes to cardio, but running across an entire city is definitely taxing.]
Okay, just... whew... just gimme a minute.
[And the number to the Atroma Complaint hotline, because the Fleet needs a taxi service like yesterday. Though all this probably could have been avoided if he'd just bothered to ask somebody for a ride. Or practiced flying the shuttles at all since he got here.]
You get any other takers?

[And it shows- she's a bit scuffed up, and her costume is dirty from all the rolling around she's been doing all day. Still, she smiles brightly at him, tilting her head to one side. Why is he so out of breath...?]
Did you not take a shuttle here?
no subject
Uh... no. No I did not. Kinda leaped when I should've looked with that one.
[Though with that out of the way and his stamina coming back to him, he'll go ahead and start surveying the area. She'd wanted heavy stuff tossed her way, and he'd definitely have to start finding some. Probably plenty inside the buildings, but that was hardly any help to him outside. He'd have to get a little more creative.]
So, how's this gonna work, exactly? I toss stuff at you 'n you try to get out of the way, or are you trying for something a little more complicated?

[She's got her shuttle around here somewhere, that should make it easier for him. And it's a nice way to repay him in part for all the trouble.]
Let's see... well, I had a couple of thoughts, so let me know what you'd rather do. First, you throw stuff at me, and the idea is I can try to catch it and get it harmlessly out of the way, causing as little property damage as I can.
The second option: you throw me and I'll try and catch myself.

[Well, within reason- the point's training after all, not actually battling. He'll at least try to keep her handling only one thing at a time unless she specifically asks for more.]
You want me doing anything else? Usually I'll try to keep the people I'm up against disoriented or off-balance when I can, but it's definitely your workout, not mine.

[She says, while trying not to quietly die of embarrassment. She still gets nauseous sometimes, okay!]
But hey, I'm up for both!

[There's still plenty of potential for her to get hurt if either of them screws up, but he'll at least be keeping to things that can't outright crush someone until he's got a good feel for her reaction time. And after scoping out the area, he's got a good first option for starting small, he's just gotta re-position himself a little further into the street first.]
And since it's kind of a favorite of mine, just a tip- probably best not to just assume I miss. Gonna wanna double check that. Heads up!
[Once he's got the proper line of sight, he'll shoot some webbing just past her left side just to illustrate his point. Close enough that if it were a real fight and they weren't being so casual, it might be enough to be chalked up as a narrow miss, instead of something aimed for a manhole cover in the road behind her- which is given a hard tug and pulled through the air right for Ochako after a brief courtesy pause for his warning to register.
Not something too heavy, but again, he's trying to gauge how quickly she can react before moving onto anything with a harsher penalty for failure.]

[Though she's controlled plenty... anyway, one step at a time.
His first move is easy enough to follow, considering he's practically sharing the script choreography of it with her, so she hastily ducks out of the way, reaching her hand out to try and slap it as it passes by. She misjudges the distance due to a last-second flinch, though, and it passes harmlessly by.]
Awww, so close! Can you try again? I think I can get it.
