[The camera clicks on to Ochako, who is in full costume for once! Sans the helmet, at least for now. It's tucked under her arm. She shuffles from foot to foot, waves, and then bows slightly.]

Hello everyone! I have a request. Would any of the fleet's engineers be able to make something for me? Like, um. Rocket-y? I heard about there being a jetpack a while back... so something like that is what I'm looking for. And if you know anybody who can do that sort of thing, please ask for me! All I know is maintenance, so I'm kinda useless when it comes to making cool gear... I can collect parts, though, if you need anything from the planet!

Oh, and I'm not asking for free! I can pay if you want money... well I don't have a lot but maybe I could pay over time? I can also cook for you and your ship, or bring my little bots over to clean, or... we can work something out!

[She pauses to think for a moment, puzzling over what she might have forgotten, and then-]

Right! The other thing! Is there anybody with super-strength who can help me practice? I want to try a few things that I can't do on my own.

[Ochako's in overdrive today! And all week, really. She's discovered the parkour course and is running through it, over and over, only taking small breaks between to catch her breath and get a drink. She's practicing activating and cancelling her Quirk in quick succession, using her temporary moments of weightlessness to launch herself into higher jumps over the equipment than her small legs would normally allow.

Sure, it means once in a while she loses control and faceplants spectacularly, but that's what practice is for!

When she isn't practicing, she'll be wandering around the Iskaulit, poking her head into rooms less-often visited to see what's changed, or tidying up the art therapy room she likes to visit since it's been mostly abandoned for a while now. She'll be all over at sporadic times.]

Clothes... [Shinji blinks a few times, and then he goes all pink in the cheeks.] Er, no, not... not clothes clothes, just a clothes iron... like for ironing clothes? I can... [He's embarrassed enough to feel a little faint right about now.] I have plenty of clothes, so don't worry about that. I'm just really over the, uh, wrinkles, having to deal with wrinkles and stuff. [The mental image of a girl picking out his clothes is just plain alarming. He was like three years old the last time his mother did that for him.]

Ohhh, I understand! Iron, gotcha. Hehe.

[Not that she'd care either way, but yeah, maybe that's a more reasonable request. She doesn't even know his size.]

One iron, coming up! ...Hopefully.

But being indebted to somebody over something just doesn't feel right to him. He deliberates for a few moments, the silence both comfortable and a little awkward, and then...]

Hey, Ochako... what's your favorite flower? We've got tons of seeds at the greenhouse, from all over the place, so... [So he could grow some flowers for her, on the little plot of soil he's borrowing for personal projects.]

Favourite flower? Um, hmmm... oh, I like petunias! They have really pretty patterns... have you ever seen the one that looks like it's covered in stars? So cool...

Petunias... [Shinji considers that for a moment, then nods.] I think we have petunia seeds, but I don't know what colors they might be... I'll just grow whatever I can find.

I haven't seen that kind before, though. That sounds amazing. It really does look like stars?

That sounds great! I'm sure they'll be pretty, no matter what the colour is.

And ooh, they really do. They're usually dark, but the petals are covered in white blotches and tiny speckles- and every one is different, so a bouquet of them looks like a big patch of the night sky! They're amazing!

Oh, wow... [Shinji is adding these starry-sounding flowers to the mental list of things he has to look for when they get to a planet that isn't creepily abandoned.] The coolest flowers I've ever seen were... they were called striped roses, or something like that. It looked like somebody had painted them all red and white, and they didn't even look real, not first.

But other than that--I don't think you can go wrong with sunflowers. They're not so bad to look at. [He smiles weakly, then. Sharing a little of himself is still a daunting task.]

Ahh, you're right!

[She claps her hands once, obviously pleased by the suggestion.]

Sunflowers are really cute! Daisies, too- they're kind of plain, but they're charming in that way, too! I think they just look like happy flowers.

[Agreement. Positive feedback. Always an incredible feeling.]

Oh, yeah, daisies. I like those, too. Maybe they're plain to look at, but I don't need that much when it comes to flowers. [Shinji looks down at the bouquet of various flowers he brought into the art studio...] Like, forget-me-nots... those are really small, and easy to overlook, but that's what I like about them. They're not trying to impress anybody. You know?

[Ochako is the walking embodiment of positive reinforcement, buddy.]

Yeah, exactly! They're cute and unassuming. That means they match with lots of other flowers, too.

Yeah. [Shinji's smile is less watery, now.] All those flowers I just mentioned... we've got them in abundance over at the greenhouse. If you ever want to stop by and--you know. If you ever want to see them. That would be okay with me.

Really, you don't mind!? I'd love to visit, it sounds beautiful!

[Shinji nods.] I wouldn't mind at all! Not at all. And no one else is gonna mind, either. It's not like there's any one person who owns the whole greenhouse, so it should be fine...

OK! Then I'll be sure to visit ASAP. I'm looking forward to it, thank you!

[And now she's totally going to look for flower seeds while she's looking for the iron. New sidequest unlocked!!]
