[She's put this off for weeks now in the vain hope that Fenris would suddenly turn back up one day, grumpy as usual.  Some people only vanish briefly, don't they?  But there's only so many double shifts she can pull, and while they've been welcome in the order of not thinking about various things (this place, all those deaths, her death, and oh Luceti, that's an interesting one) there comes a point where you both (a) have to acknowledge you're in denial and (b) fall asleep in the shuttle bay before you ever leave the Iskaulit. 

Damn you, Fenris.  It's not going to be the same without you.  This is your friend's bar.]

I guess it's that time of year again.  The Space Bar needs new staff!   I'm looking for someone with decent bartending experience or just someone who's really fast at learning.  Pay's good, so if you'd like an extra source of credits for work you choose to be doing, hit me up.  I'm also looking for one or two people who'd be willing to act as relief staff, because this place does a number on reliability at the best of times.

[Like when its proprietor vanishes completely for a month, that was fun.]

....also, tell me if you've found a favourite food or drink on this planet.  I'm restocking, it benefits everyone if I can have on hand what people enjoy the most.

You looking for the main job or just take a relief shift here and there?

God no, not all the time. Does it even get busy in there?

[Katara sees Nami's post, but doesn't respond to it. She doesn't really want to work in a bar, she's already going to be cooking for the Blue Fish that's... enough of dealing with food. But she does know Nami well enough that she decides to go looking for her.

She just... doesn't expect to find her asleep on the floor in the shuttle bay.

At first, in fact, she's not certain Nami's asleep -- she rushes over out of concern.] Nami!

[Look, at least it's not the middle of the floor! She just sat down to rest for a second before taking the shuttle back because she was drowsy and doesn't want to end up crashing the thing. It wasn't meant to turn into a full blown nap--

Well, maybe the fact she's snoring gently will be less concerning. Hzzz.]

I'd never tended bar either before coming here, so it's not much of an issue. It's around twenty hours a week in general. Four shifts, afternoon or evening.

As long as I don't have to learn those cool little flips they do with the bottles. [he nods] That's not bad. I could do either afternoon or evening - whichever one you need more.

Y'know what? I kinda want to try! Might be fun. Plus even if I end up lousy at mixing drinks, every bar can use a bouncer.

A few nights a week we approach a lived in kind of feel. The main job isn't all the time, either. It's like twenty hours in the week.

[Well, the snoring at least reassures Katara that Nami isn't dead. She kneels beside her, one hand going out to gently shake Nami's shoulder.] Nami?

That's not so bad. [And he has had way too much free time on his hands. Way too much.] Is it just pouring drinks and stuff? That all?

I'm pretty good? I've got the patience for it, as long as they're not - y'know, starting fights or whatever. Or drinking themselves to death.

[She can't help but feel relieved. Nervousness about gods aside, she can't imagine a god taking well to being ordered around on a regular basis.]
