[She's put this off for weeks now in the vain hope that Fenris would suddenly turn back up one day, grumpy as usual.  Some people only vanish briefly, don't they?  But there's only so many double shifts she can pull, and while they've been welcome in the order of not thinking about various things (this place, all those deaths, her death, and oh Luceti, that's an interesting one) there comes a point where you both (a) have to acknowledge you're in denial and (b) fall asleep in the shuttle bay before you ever leave the Iskaulit. 

Damn you, Fenris.  It's not going to be the same without you.  This is your friend's bar.]

I guess it's that time of year again.  The Space Bar needs new staff!   I'm looking for someone with decent bartending experience or just someone who's really fast at learning.  Pay's good, so if you'd like an extra source of credits for work you choose to be doing, hit me up.  I'm also looking for one or two people who'd be willing to act as relief staff, because this place does a number on reliability at the best of times.

[Like when its proprietor vanishes completely for a month, that was fun.]

....also, tell me if you've found a favourite food or drink on this planet.  I'm restocking, it benefits everyone if I can have on hand what people enjoy the most.

I'd never tended bar either before coming here, so it's not much of an issue. It's around twenty hours a week in general. Four shifts, afternoon or evening.

[Katara sees Nami's post, but doesn't respond to it. She doesn't really want to work in a bar, she's already going to be cooking for the Blue Fish that's... enough of dealing with food. But she does know Nami well enough that she decides to go looking for her.

She just... doesn't expect to find her asleep on the floor in the shuttle bay.

At first, in fact, she's not certain Nami's asleep -- she rushes over out of concern.] Nami!

[Look, at least it's not the middle of the floor! She just sat down to rest for a second before taking the shuttle back because she was drowsy and doesn't want to end up crashing the thing. It wasn't meant to turn into a full blown nap--

Well, maybe the fact she's snoring gently will be less concerning. Hzzz.]

[Well, the snoring at least reassures Katara that Nami isn't dead. She kneels beside her, one hand going out to gently shake Nami's shoulder.] Nami?

It's been a long time since I've had mead. There was a planet we visited all the way back when I first came here that had some halfway decent stuff, but nothing since.

Beer and whiskey we have plenty of, though! They're kind of top in my list of priorities.

I'm almost sorry I missed it. Everyone drinks mead in Asgard, and it's always disappointing when I go somewhere only to find no one serves it.

[Which is most everywhere. Earth still makes it, but not anywhere near enough for it to be available when Thor wants it. A real tragedy.]

Well, that's good! There's plenty of it on the planet too, so some things must be universal.

[He does find her in an inconvenient place to sleep, so he does what is only logical - he makes sure she's not dying or horrifically ill (and worries anyway), before shimmying her onto his back to carry her off to her own warm, comfortable bed. It's been a bit hectic lately, and with Fenris gone, that's just more work to stretch out across job positions. And despite complaints of Sam's ability to overwork, he's well aware everyone else around here have their own medals...]

[She's awake fairly shortly into the whole proceeding, blinking with a kind of tired amusement as Sam swings her up onto his back. Not that she's complaining.

We're all hypocrites here, Sam. She just didn't want to replace him in case he came back. There's a small huff at the question, and she's just gonna mutter the answer into his shirt.]

Doubt it. Just tired.

[With Sam, at least, she won't pretend she's in a good mood about this whole thing.]

I thought working until dozing off in weird places was my problem. You're okay, right?

[He just needs to make sure. It's hard to tell when there's more than just — trying to keep up, on a normal basis. Sometimes people glitch, or go back home, or have an issue with another fleet member... You just never know, okay?]
