I. Mon-El
After some time of pretending like she could be normal, and lowkey distancing herself from Mon-El, Kara decides she needs to text him:
I think I'm ready to talk about things. Are you? Maybe we could meet up.

II. Chekov
Kara's had a rough few days and she really really wants one thing: a patented Chekov hug. For some reason, they've been ships passing in the night, but the moment she catches him, she just gives him a hug.

[Chekov, for his part, has been spending more time on the Iskaulit since Fenris and Wolfe left. The Tourist feels a little too empty... but it's still home. Kara and Kirk are still there, after all.

He's quick to hug Kara back.]

[ she holds the hug just for an extra moment ]

[more seriously:] Is there something wrong? ...Other than the obvious things, I mean?

Wouldn't the obvious things be enough?

[ she heads toward the kitchen and starts the process. which is mostly grabbing water and heating it with her heat vision ]

[Even though he's known her for over a year (and a little extra if other universes are factored in), the heat vision thing remains impressive. What a time-saver!]

[ she slides his mug to him and sits ]

Anders

[He's been meaning to check in with Anders since the Wintersend party. It was the only time that everyone from Thedas had gathered while on the Fleet and now so many people have returned back home. Anders had suffered the most but one thing or the other had kept him from really visiting the mage.

Mainly, if he's honest, the fact that so much of the future hinges on the fact that a wrong decision made by this man will ruin the world as he knows it is a great deal of why he's been hesitant to come to this ship. (Not that Thedas wasn't a boiling kettle of hot oil only needing a drop to spill over on a good day.) He'd let Riona and Justice deal with the mage while he was being educated by the Tevene altus on the Blue Fish just how bad things get.

As an added precaution, he's brought along Doglord Duncan Tyrion Theirin the Snow Leopard with him for two reasons. One, the cat rarely lets him out of its sight unless he really puts his foot down. And two, Anders likes cats, according to his intel.

When he gets to the ship, he can finally feel the familiar, slimy feeling of the Darkspawn Taint in another and he follows it until he reaches the ship's medbay.]

You know, I never thought I'd actually miss the feeling of another Grey Warden after the Blight was over.

The Common Room

[Since he's a visitor to the Tourist, Alistair is taking care to keep his tagalong leopard in line. But, you know, he's not exactly the easiest to miss at his six-feet-plus, muscular frame being followed by a tiny spotted cat. Not that he or Doglord are making trouble, but the Ferelden king sure is looking over the library and taking books off the shelf.

And then, well, he's not that graceful and it slips from his fingers, nearly hitting the leopard in the head.]

Oh, I'm sorry, Doglord. Didn't expect that. Guess I missed the part about making book covers out of greasepaint and too-well oiled leather.

Ah. Whatever the memories are, that makes things difficult--one person remembering more than another. [Not... that he's speaking from personal experience or anything.] Would you like to talk about them?

But on the plus side, my sister's in a really good relationship?

[ Kara is walking by and at first she overshoots the entrance, but she is forced to backtrack ]

If things that you remember change how you behave towards him or how you feel for him... those, at least, it might be good for him to know. But please never take advice from me when romantic relationships are involved.

Yeah. Alex's girlfriend is a cop, and they work really well together, actually. I'm happy for her. Still wish she were here, but what are you going to do.

I wish that you had her here too. [Not because more people need to be stuck with the fleet, but because Kara deserves nice things.]

Fine, fine. Better than the captain and Anders have been.

[Chekov is mildly surprised to find the common room occupied by a large stranger and a small leopard when he comes in to grab a book. Pleasantly so! All strangers and cats are welcome (even if those strangers are being unkind to the books).]

Hello, and I'm sorry that our books are causing you trouble.

It's just such a huge loss...

[Alistair looks up, feeling guilty all of a sudden.]

[Alistair blushes and grimaces at the same time.]

I... I'm sorry. It seems I've got butter fingers today. Hardly the book's fault. But my cat doesn't believe me either way.

[ she comes over to where the cat is and crouches down, extending a hand to sniff and addressing doglord ]

Omigosh hiii. Yes hello how are you today? Are you a big fierce?

Oh.

[Well, color him disappointed. Sure, he's not asking anyone to be super excited to meet him, but to be overshadowed by his fuzzy stalker is a blow. Good thing he doesn't have a big ego.]

Well, this is Doglord Duncan Tyrion Theirin. And he is, in fact, a small fierce.

[ she scritches the kitty's chin if he allows it and looks up at alistair, smiling ]

[The attention whore will definitely allow chin scritches and pets. Please pay attention to his soft, shiny coat that Alistair actually brushes once a day.]

Oh, we've come over to see Anders. He's had a rough time lately. And I was told that he likes cats. Hence our visit.

[ she does notice the lovely coat as she pets the cat and stands up all the way ]
