Action
After some time of pretending like she could be normal, and lowkey distancing herself from Mon-El, Kara decides she needs to text him:
I think I'm ready to talk about things. Are you? Maybe we could meet up.
II. Chekov
Kara's had a rough few days and she really really wants one thing: a patented Chekov hug. For some reason, they've been ships passing in the night, but the moment she catches him, she just gives him a hug.
III. OTA
Catch Kara on the Tourist, the Iskaulit, or any other place. seriously. say hi!
Action
He's quick to hug Kara back.]
Kara, hello.

Hey, stranger.

[more seriously:] Is there something wrong? ...Other than the obvious things, I mean?

Claiming that Mon-El spot like no one else can!
What did she mean that his mother was trying to make Earth into New Daxam? And why would he ever leave her? And what about all the little things in between that nag at him. Why was only his mother a problem? What about father? Or had she just sparred him those details? Where have the Daxamites been living all this time? How many are left? Was National City damaged? Were they winning? Was anyone hurt?
And on top of the swirl of questions he's worried about her and wants to be there for her and comforting her, but maybe she pulled away because he was struggling so much with wanting to know more and ask more and that's not what she needed. He's never really had to push his own needs to the side. He had to defer to his parents on Daxam but otherwise he could fulfill any whim he had. And he wants to be more than that and better than that for Kara. Maybe she didn't think he could. That question might be the hardest to face.
There are too many questions and too few answers and he practically jumps off his bed as he reads the text.]
Yes!
Now.
Or later.
Whenever it's good for you really.
I want you to feel comfortable.
Where are you?
Not that it has to be now.
Unless you want it to be now.
Do you want that?
[He manages to stop sending texts finally. Clearly not eager, right? This is breezy texting.]

or possibly a weekto wait to see if she'll add anything more, but no, she clearly went a different way and didn't get all embarrassing.]Consider me practically there.
[He'll even abandon the pinball game he was in the midst of when he got the first text. This talk is definitely more important. He couldn't really concentrate on the marble and its conquests anyway. He'll be stepping onto the Tourist and making a bee line for Kara's room as fast as he can, which is decently fast.]

Alistair is Visiting!
[He's been meaning to check in with Anders since the Wintersend party. It was the only time that everyone from Thedas had gathered while on the Fleet and now so many people have returned back home. Anders had suffered the most but one thing or the other had kept him from really visiting the mage.
Mainly, if he's honest, the fact that so much of the future hinges on the fact that a wrong decision made by this man will ruin the world as he knows it is a great deal of why he's been hesitant to come to this ship. (Not that Thedas wasn't a boiling kettle of hot oil only needing a drop to spill over on a good day.) He'd let Riona and Justice deal with the mage while he was being educated by the Tevene altus on the Blue Fish just how bad things get.
As an added precaution, he's brought along Doglord Duncan Tyrion Theirin the Snow Leopard with him for two reasons. One, the cat rarely lets him out of its sight unless he really puts his foot down. And two, Anders likes cats, according to his intel.
When he gets to the ship, he can finally feel the familiar, slimy feeling of the Darkspawn Taint in another and he follows it until he reaches the ship's medbay.]
You know, I never thought I'd actually miss the feeling of another Grey Warden after the Blight was over.
The Common Room
[Since he's a visitor to the Tourist, Alistair is taking care to keep his tagalong leopard in line. But, you know, he's not exactly the easiest to miss at his six-feet-plus, muscular frame being followed by a tiny spotted cat. Not that he or Doglord are making trouble, but the Ferelden king sure is looking over the library and taking books off the shelf.
And then, well, he's not that graceful and it slips from his fingers, nearly hitting the leopard in the head.]
Oh, I'm sorry, Doglord. Didn't expect that. Guess I missed the part about making book covers out of greasepaint and too-well oiled leather.
Wildcard
[Something you want to do with Alistair while he's there? Let me know.]

The Common Room
Hello, and I'm sorry that our books are causing you trouble.
no subject
I... I'm sorry. It seems I've got butter fingers today. Hardly the book's fault. But my cat doesn't believe me either way.
no subject
I was teasing, you have nothing to be sorry about regardless of what your cat believes.
[He offers a hand to shake.]
I'm Pavel Andreievich Chekov and it's good to meet you.

When Alistair spoke, it came with a bit of relief. Not someone new. Generally good. At this point, he wouldn't be surprised if Atroma got rid of his lover and then turned around and brought in a Gray Warden who wanted Anders dead just for fun.]
Really? I didn't. It feels a little like being covered in slow-dripping slime.
[He doesn't turn from what he's doing until he finishes pouring the elfroot potion into it's container. His store of them had hardly gone to use since the cannibals, but stress-working was his go-to. However, that also meant he had quite the back stock. He'd already dried some of the clippings he'd needed to take for the plant's health, maybe he should experiment in using it for cooking next. Or rather, have Jarvis experiment with it.]
To what do I owe the-oh!
[As Anders turned to face the other Warden, his eyes fell to the small snow leopard with him. Anders' own leopards were running around terrorizing who knew what in the pet care center on the Marisiva while Anders worked. They liked getting into his potions and ingredients when he wasn't looking and the last thing he wanted to deal with right now was kitten indigestion.
But as his eyes fell to the smaller guest, his expression lit up and he got to one knee, his hand darting into a pocket to pull out and offer a homemade cat treat.]
Hello! Who's a handsome fellow? Maker knows it must be you.
no subject
Although, it's good that it's not too surprising for him to show up on a ship that isn't his own. He's still not too sure about etiquette amongst the other people on the Fleet. (He hadn't really cared when he first arrived; he'd wanted to find Riona and that was all that mattered after he did find her.) Besides, the last time he dropped in on someone unannounced, it ended rather poorly.]
Well, yes, it does generally feel like that, but it's sort of nice to know that I'm not the only one running around here completely uncomfortable.
[Be his buddy in horror, Anders.
Aaaaaaand, he's not at all surprised to see Anders fall into a pile of goo at the sight of the cat, complete with baby talk and treats.]
Say hello to Doglord Duncan Tyrion Theirin. That's the name that came from me asking for suggestions.
[And no Archon in sight.]
no subject
Hello, Doglord Duncan Tyrion Theirin.
[He reached out as the cat took the treat and scratched behind it's ears.]
What a wonderful and noble beast.
[He offered a bit of a smile up to Alistair.]
I assume you didn't just visit this ship to comment on the Taint and bring your regal friend.
[There's a beat.] The taint which, by the way, Riona doesn't know I have back. The same person who took away hers took away mine as well, but then I....went missing from here for a while. When I came back, so was the taint. [Though, oddly enough, not Justice which was the main reason Allen had been involved, the taint being gone was a happy side-effect.]

He popped his head in, looking around and spying the little leopard - of which he knew Anders had quite a few. ]
Doglord?
no subject
Uh, right, so, Doglord is my leopard. We're, um, visiting. From the Blue Fish.
no subject
Is there some sort of irony in naming your leopard Doglord?
[ He looked down at the miniature snow leopard, so similar to Anders’. ]
