I mean, in addition to basic differences, his parents also wanted to take over Earth. So, there's that.

[ He's not the best person to talk to about not keeping secrets. At times, he knows he's a vault, and at the worst of times, difficult to read. Some things are best left in the dark, but he's not as morally sound as Kara. At times, he's a bit envious of her for it. ]

You could say that's just how he is and I'd believe it, but yes, I do remember that.

Steve and Tony's dad Howard knew each other back in the war. I did too, to an extent. Steve knew him better, though. [ He shakes his head. ]

Tony's parents died when he was just a kid. He found out recently it wasn't the whole story, and Steve knew. He didn't say anything.

So Tony was mad that Steve withheld information? Did it change things so much?

I killed his parents.

...That does change things for Tony, yeah.

So, Steve didn't tell him because he was worried about his reaction, or something else?

He wanted to protect me. Or Tony from it. He should have just told Tony, it would have been better.

I understand the impulse, though. I really do. But I guess the truth always comes out somehow.
