Such a strange thing, to wake up one moment and have no memory of this place nor of the last decade and then the next to remember it all, including the time that you didn't remember.

There are times that I'm reminded I'm in a place with technology that I could never dream of back home. And it's simply marvelous isn't it? Like something out of a novel or dramatic tv serial. It almost makes me want to get popcorn.

[Something seems a little off about Victor. His jaw is just a little too tight. Even as he smiles and seems as pleasant as ever.]

Thank you to everyone who cared for me while I was in that state.

I forgot how much work long hair took.

But they might in the future, if a world with magic follows the same path as mine.

It's amazing to think that in my future people might be able to accomplish even a fraction of what they have here, and yet I have to deal with that reality now, don't I?

I always thought I was too gangly for it, but it might be an enjoyable pastime, given everything.

Gangly doesn't have to mean unable to skate. We should see how you look on skates.

Well, I'd be willing to give anything a try once. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, no?

You're stressed. [Don't think he can't see the tension in your face.] As far as I know you were as pleasant as you've always been. Throw yourself at things to keep your mind and body busy. It will help you feel better.

Skating helps. If you stop by the rink, I'll likely be there.

I can meet you there. Jumps have been giving me some trouble. I can get the momentum, but sticking the landing is proving to be difficult.
