[The Space Bar staff made good use of the ever-replenishing alcohol supply at their last stop, and Nami and Remy got around to discussing the idea of testing various experimental mixes to come up with new additions for the menu.  I mean, add to that Nami hasn't made a decision which one of the applicants should take the main bar job, so clearly the best idea is to shove them all into one place and ply them with alcohol while they talk to each other and work it out after that.

No, it's a good idea.  Shut up.

...okay.  It may just be a good excuse for a party.  Sue her.]

Not that I know of.

[ His enemies might complain but . . . eh. Loki will cross that bridge when he needs to. ]

Good. I'd say come see me if you do, but you look like you've got things more than well in hand.

Not a great deal. It's a laid back job. Have you met the other regular staff?

I cannot say I have.

[mikangirl]

[She points them out as she goes. It's polite to; whether Loki remembers or not isn't something she worries about.]

The tall one with the puppy eyes there is Sam. He's a regular bartender. Our other less tall but just as friendly bartender is Mon-El. The one with the red coat and ridiculous hair is Vash; he's kitchen staff. The one mixing experimental drinks is Remy. The giant red princess with six arms is Looma. Technically our bouncer.

[ A pause. ]

"Puppy eyes"?

[Hah.] He has a way of looking at people that's honest and sincere and makes people want to do what he says. Some of them, anyway.

[dothelokimotion]

[ Loki snorts lightly. ]

That's debatable.

[mikangirl]

I did say some. I've yet to work out if he does it on purpose or not.

I suppose it is a little difficult to correlate data.

I'll ask him one day. [She glances at him.] Have you met him before?

[dothelokimotion]

[ Loki purses his lips tightly. He's not angry at Sam, not really. But he is deeply resentful of how casually Sam mentioned Thor's hammer. ]

I don't see why it would be.

[ Loki's days of lashing out are mostly behind him. He's not stupid. ]

Good to know. [Who people like and dislike is their concern. She lets it go at that.]
