[The Space Bar staff made good use of the ever-replenishing alcohol supply at their last stop, and Nami and Remy got around to discussing the idea of testing various experimental mixes to come up with new additions for the menu.  I mean, add to that Nami hasn't made a decision which one of the applicants should take the main bar job, so clearly the best idea is to shove them all into one place and ply them with alcohol while they talk to each other and work it out after that.

No, it's a good idea.  Shut up.

...okay.  It may just be a good excuse for a party.  Sue her.]

[He's her plus one, and while they spend a good portion on the time together, they do drift off now and again. This is one of the times where they find each other.

Kaname laughs as she takes a seat on a chair next to him, drink in hand.]

[But he grins and knocks his glass against hers.]

Then you should know, I came here with my girlfriend.

I don't see her around right now. [As if to demonstrate, she stands up and moves over, taking a seat on his lap. Her free arm goes around his shoulders.]

[There's a smirk on her face.]

Oh, uh, this is forward...

[His hands flutter around for a second, unsure of where to go. There are a lot of people here. What is appropriate?! He settles for hugging her around the waist.

What now? Nothing that felt comfortable with an audience! He clears his throat and reaches for his drink.]

[She laughs lightly and kisses his temple, careful not to disturb either of their beverages.]

Yes, you are comfy. Your lap is a good seat.

[Kaname's had a couple drinks by this point.]

I wouldn't know. I've never sat on my own lap.

[He can kind of tell she's had a couple. He's had a few himself. Which could be why he's not blushing (though his face is rosy from the alcohol, so who could tell?)]

Maybe try it sometime. [It's hard to tell if she's joking or genuinely doesn't realize what she's suggesting.]

I want to sit here more often now.

[He snickers, and it turns into a laugh that lasts way too long.]

Anytime you want. [He reaches for his drink, then stops abruptly when a thought occurs.]

Mm! Hey, Keith wanted to know if you were going to sing.

I will hold you to that! [Whether she actually will or not remains to be seen.

When he stops, Kaname takes his drink instead, sipping it.]

Hmm. I could... Why?

[He reaches for his drink again, but it's gone. Kaname took it.]

[Even when she's a little sillier due to the drinks, she can recognize how sweet he is. She giggles, leaning against him and handing him his drink back.]

[Kaname drinks again.]
