[The Space Bar staff made good use of the ever-replenishing alcohol supply at their last stop, and Nami and Remy got around to discussing the idea of testing various experimental mixes to come up with new additions for the menu.  I mean, add to that Nami hasn't made a decision which one of the applicants should take the main bar job, so clearly the best idea is to shove them all into one place and ply them with alcohol while they talk to each other and work it out after that.

No, it's a good idea.  Shut up.

...okay.  It may just be a good excuse for a party.  Sue her.]

[ Loki merely cocks an eyebrow before glancing at Nami to see if this was acceptable. Since she doesn't react, Loki merely shrugs and moves on. Dislike on sight is nothing new to him and he's hardly going to lose sleep over it. ]

That thought did sound a lot more like a certain missing friend than his own voice, enough to have him take pause while pouring his glass. Damnit, Rogue isn't even here and she's putting him in his place. Best/worse friendship ever.

Sighing softly to himself, Remy finished up with the bottle he was using, moving to put it away again before taking a large sip of his drink. He was going to need it.] Ya been here a few months by now, non?

Really? Feels longer. [And that was out before Remy could stop himself, a healthy dose of sarcasm to it... before realizing what he had done and gave a breath of a laugh and shake of his head. Smooth, he didn't even last one question.

Unable to fully throw off that smile, he kept going.] Ya get put on ya brother's ship?

[ He cleans glasses as if Loki has heard nothing new. ]

My brother and I know better than to share space like that.

[ And Thor didn't invite him. Doesn't want him there. So Loki isn't going to bother. He chose to come back, but even he has his limits. ]

[Though it would not be good for the Fleet to lose a ship, or for the others on whatever ship they would be stuck on together.] Good way to make funds 'round here, in theory. [Because who knew how the whole ratings and viewing side of this really worked, or what their apparent audience wanted to see.]

[ Loki is adaptable. He's proud, but he has never been stupid. He knows what decisions will pave his way. ]

Mind makin' me a coke 'nd bourbon? [Then a bit of a shake of his head.] Or whatever equal to it with our stock. [Alien drinks and all.]

[ Loki shrugs, having no issues with complying with that request. In a few seconds, he slides the drink over. ]

[Ok, don't take a test try to make sure it wasn't poisoned or something, that was just... too much, as much as Remy was tempted to do so. Sure, he saw Loki make it up, but this guy did have access to magic, so who knew.]

Thanks, [Remy offered, then a pause, not sure how else to keep going on this all because... well, he was feeling a little bad for being such an ass to Loki... but also remember it was Loki and that brought back that need to try and knock his head off again. It was better for settling somewhere in between the two.] For the drink, 'nd for helpin' out. [There, good, that worked.

Finally taking that sip of the drink, he gave a slight nod of his head as a farewell before moving off to relax for the rest of the night.]
