[The Space Bar staff made good use of the ever-replenishing alcohol supply at their last stop, and Nami and Remy got around to discussing the idea of testing various experimental mixes to come up with new additions for the menu.  I mean, add to that Nami hasn't made a decision which one of the applicants should take the main bar job, so clearly the best idea is to shove them all into one place and ply them with alcohol while they talk to each other and work it out after that.

No, it's a good idea.  Shut up.

...okay.  It may just be a good excuse for a party.  Sue her.]

I don't think so? I mean, they were having a party, and invited us in, and Lance thought it would be fun, so he pulled me in here, and I saw Vash, and Prompto, and Kaname, and some other people, so I thought, okay... maybe a few drinks wouldn't hurt, and now here I am... having fun at a party.

[And feeling oddly talkative.]

[Ah, drunkenness. Everything was clear now.]

Friends and a few drinks do make a party more fun. Please be more sensible than I was the last time I drank at a party and avoid having much more than the few drinks that you have had already?

[Which, thanks to the drunkenness, Keith laughed outright at Chekov's comment about good taste, even if it had been something of a small joke.]

Oh, yeah, definitely. I'm doing fiiine. No problem. It'll be great.

[He waved off the concern like it was unwarranted.]

If, tomorrow, you are doing less great, I would be willing to share Russian secrets for curing hangovers.

Of course they are. Russians are experts at drinking and, consequently, recovering from drinking.

If they're experts at drinking, why do they need to recover?

[Aha! Keith wasn't totally drunk that he couldn't logic things. Yet.]

Alcohol, in good quantities, creates undesirable physiological responses in even the most expert drinkers. Part of being an expert drinker is knowing how to treat those responses effectively.

Huh... okay... [Keith nodded a little.] I guess that makes sense. [He shrugged.] I'll let you know if I need it, then! [Grin!]

Somehow, I doubt that you will remember. [Which amused Pavel at least a little since he was the drunk one last time.]

Ahhh... we'll see! [Keith kept his grin, and then gave Pavel a cheery wave as he headed off into the crowd.

He'd remember. He'd remember the whole night, but he was with Lance when he woke up. And they found their own hangover cure, so it was all good!]
