[The Space Bar staff made good use of the ever-replenishing alcohol supply at their last stop, and Nami and Remy got around to discussing the idea of testing various experimental mixes to come up with new additions for the menu.  I mean, add to that Nami hasn't made a decision which one of the applicants should take the main bar job, so clearly the best idea is to shove them all into one place and ply them with alcohol while they talk to each other and work it out after that.

No, it's a good idea.  Shut up.

...okay.  It may just be a good excuse for a party.  Sue her.]

[Her eyes widen in surprise at the suggestion it could have been Allen for a number of reasons. The first of which being she had a close relationship with him too that was never remotely romantic or sexual. Not to mention when she'd been close to him he'd been younger than her and her deal is always older guys. She has trouble even seeing people her age entirely as peers. You'll have that when you socialize a young genius with adults only for most of her teenage years and then put her in charge of people only slightly younger at the end of them. But the biggest reason is, of course, that Allen Walker is an exorcist, not a noah. At least to most people. But he was also the fourteenth and it wasn't something he shared easily. At least hers hadn't.]

I guess you really were close. [Or knowing was a demon power thing. Or...the Fourteenth had taken over.]

It was Tyki Mikk. [If you're going to hook up with a noah, might as well be the noah of pleasure, right?]

Allen was my first friend in my last interdimensional abduction though.

[Crowley had watched Allen grow up, from a surly teenager into an adult. It had been...quite some time. Of course, Allen had never AGED in that time, not until he came to the Fleet and started buying upgrades. But then, Crowley never aged either. It was easier to accept Allen for who he was, what he was.

And he absolutely knew about the Fourteenth. Met him, more than once. It was never a fun time. ]

He was family. We knew each other for about nine years or so.

[And Allen's loss still weighs heavily on him. Out of all the people who have flitted through his long, long life, Allen is one of the ones that stuck the most. He's one Crowley will carry with him unto eternity, if he gets the chance. ]

Ugh, met him too, once or twice. He was alright, I guess.

[Bit weird. At her last comment, a faint smile crosses his face, rare, genuine. ]

Tyki has his moments. Good and bad.

[When discussing mistakes from the past like Tyki where she got too close to someone she knew from the outset was dangerous it should probably act as a good reminder not to get too close to some extremely powerful, self-proclaimed demon too. But hearing someone else call Allen family still does nothing but earn him points.

Allen is still one of her most important people even if her relationship with the Allen who had been in the fleet had been decidedly rockier. Not that she could blame him. She'd been honest about all this. And while her Allen never seemed to judge her too harshly for it, living something was different than hearing it summarized. Not to mention he had several extra years and experiences on him. Their paths had diverged. It didn't make him less important to her. But the comfort and familiarity was replaced by awkwardness even if all the caring and protectiveness was fully intact. So any friend or family of Allen's...

Too bad she hadn't managed to apply the same logic to any enemy of Allen's.]

[She perks up at that.] Tim's still here? [She loves Tim. It's pretty obvious.]
