[A - Swimming]
[It hadn't taken him long to choose his team, the Waves. Shark mascot? Love of water-based sports? Liberal use of the color blue? Heck yeah, he's in.

(That, and being on a different team from Keith means that he can kick his butt in competitions, which is obviously the most important thing here.)

The first competition he signs up for is a swimming race. He hasn't properly partaken in them since high school, where he was the star of the swim team, thank you very much. Lots of time in the Iskaulit's pool has kept him in shape and in practice, and he's excited to put those skills to the test. He puts his money where is mouth is, so to speak, and all his bragging isn't just for show-- Lance manages to win several races, and at least place in the top three in the ones he doesn't.

Feel free to watch him compete and cheer him on! Or you can catch him between or after the races, walking around in a navy blue speedo (purely for aerodynamics, of course) and being his charming self to any fans he might get.]

[B - Racing]

[Lance has gotta go fast, and not just in a pool. He hasn't been able to properly race in a vehicle meant for it in a long time now, so he signs up for all manner of races on land and air. Cars, shuttles, bikes... He's best at the shuttle races, of course, being a pilot and all. Not as great at the others due to lack of practice, but he still fares decently enough.

It isn't just vehicle races, either; Lance enters running competitions as well. Other than the shuttle runs, this is where he shines the most in this general category, and he places high in nearly all the races.

Again, cheer him on for anything he's in! Find him relaxing between races, relaxing and hydrating, because he doesn't want to overdo it. Not unless a certain mulleted paladin is in the line-up. If that's the case, you'll either find him crowing if he wins, or sulking if he loses. There's probably more of the former than the latter, unfortunately, but not all!]

[C - Beach]

[If there's a beach, Lance will go to it. No questions asked. He spends time nearly every day on one of the beaches, either laid out tanning on the sand or swimming in the ocean. He even partakes in some volleyball tournaments, because why not? Lance might be rusty, but he used to play a ton of beach volleyball back in Cuba. It helped living right by the shore.

It's clear that this is where Lance is in his best element, and more relaxed and carefree than he normally is. Sometimes, though, he'll just be sitting there looking at the waves, looking nostalgic and a little sad. Homesickness will never go away.]

[D - Other competitions]

[He's putting all of his talents to the test here. Lance is competitive by nature, of course. Aside from the aforementioned competitions, he also signs up for a few more. Archery and sharpshooting are at the top of that list. For all the bragging he does about himself, he really does live up to the "sharpshooter" nickname, and easily wins gold in the majority of games he's in. Archery is a little more difficult, but his natural dexterity and aim lead him to be pretty successful.

He's proudest of himself and looks it when he wins the sharpshooting contests. After all, that's his role in Voltron, isn't it?]

[E - Hot Springs/Spa]

[Lance will never, ever say no to a spa day. It just might rank up there in some of his favorite things in the world. He can be found every few days enjoying and pampering himself at the spa, and soaking in the hot springs located there as well. You can join him in some good ol' fashioned R&R, or just stop him from spending too much money on beauty products in the gift shop.]

[F - Other]

[Anything else! He'll be popping in and out of plenty of places on the planet. Shopping? Going to the water park? Sightseeing? Anything goes!]

Well, let's see. We'll definitely want to go with some colors that flatter your skin color. I've never had to deal with purple before, but I'm good at the color wheel! Nothing too bright or flashy... Probably some dark stuff with more colorful accents. Though we can definitely get you some more colorful stuff too for more fun occasions.

[He grins up at him. ...God, he's tall.]

As for style, well, let's have you try on a bunch of stuff and we'll see what looks best on you. And work from there. We'll have you looking fashionable and irresistible in no time!

[Lance, that's not exactly the point here...]

Darker seems to be colors that I have gone for.

[Yeah... he was basically an alien ninja to the humans if he knew what a ninja was. He was used to dark colors.

Also he had to look down at Lance as they walked as well. There was a significant height difference between them, Galra definitely being the taller of the two races]

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try different options on both for style and color. I could agree with looking fashionable, but I don't really have much interest in looking irresistible.

Then darker. But if you're gonna be in the sun like this, then you want something lighter, or else you're going to get way overheated. Trust me on that.

[Smile, smile!]

Hey, you never know when you'll meet that special someone. Or realize that someone is your special someone. You gotta look good just in case opportunity comes knocking.

That is also true. Dark colors aren't necessarily the best for staying cool. Usually the opposite. So we could look for something else as well.

[He's wondering if he can trust that smile...]

I can't deny that. Things tend to happen when you least expect them. But I am not looking.

[So don't play matchmaker for him. Or at least that's what he should probably say now...]

Like I said, you've got the master here. You'll be looking super snazzy before you know it.

[Why would anyone ever not trust this pure, innocent smile.]

Juuuuust saying, you never know what the future holds!

[At least once he'll trust it. Let's hope its something that works for him.

Of course. None of us know what will happened. I'm sure you have experience with that in a relationship.

Oh, definitely. I mean, my feelings for Keith kind of blindsided me. Though I denied it for years... And then after dancing with him at Lunafreya's wedding here, I was like whoa okay hold the phone I want this boy as my boyfriend.

[He gives a little laugh before shaking his head.]

Sorry, I'm still in that whole newlywed kind of period where I talk about it too much. Even if it's been nine months.

You are allowed. It is a normal emotion and one that is important even it sometimes makes beings behave silly.

[He was silent for a brief moment]

There are worse things to be than in love.

Much worse things.

[He's kind of happy that Ulaz has such a good attitude on it. Because it really does show that even being a Blade, even with the whole being against saving your comrades in trouble if it affects the mission thing (which is something he vehemently disagrees with), this kind of view can still persist in at least some of them.]

Right! Okay, here we go, this is the store I passed by earlier. Let's see what we can find.

[He gestures to the building they've reached. Nothing too big or fancy, and by the displays, it's mostly beach clothes. But that's what Ulaz needs right now after all.]

[There was a slight difference between Blades isolated by the mission and those undercover. The ones undercover had a better chance of seeing more and realizing other things were important, seeing what they needed to fight for. Even though he would never have the chance to fight again, Ulaz could see what a normal, more free life should be like here. There was no worry of the Galra here.

When they reached the store, Ulaz glanced up at it before following Lance inside. The tricky part might be something for his height, but he's willing to try at least]

Where should we look first?

Well, we can start with shirts. Pants and shorts are a lot easier, we can just pick them to match with the tops, plus we don't have to worry about patterns or whatever with them. Soooo...

[Lance starts walking through the shop, humming to himself as he inspects everything from polo shirts to tank tops to button downs.]

I will take your word for this.

[He had no sense of human fashion other than what he had seen in the fleet. Galra fashion didn't apply here.

He followed Lance through the shop, looking at the different times after him. It was probably an interesting sight, Ulaz being so much taller than Lance. Hopefully they had a "tall" section here or some things that were long in general.

[Thankfully the shop caters to a large clientele, so most of the clothes come in sizes meant for big and tall. Lance begins to gather up several shirts--better to try more than needed and trim it down to a good size for the shopping trip. Once he's carrying a large amount of several varieties of shirts, he turns around and deposits them into Ulaz's arms.]

Okay! Dressing room time! And I need to see how every one of these look on you.

[Well, that was lucky for Ulaz considering he definitely fell into the tall category. He watched as Lance began to pick up some of the shirts, carrying them around with him. Ulaz follows just behind him looking at a few things along the way.

And now he suddenly has that pile of shirts deposited in his arms. He looks at Lance, definitely surprised by that]

All of them?

[There were a lot of shirts...]

Yes, Ulaz. All of them.

[He crosses his arms, trying to look very authoritarian against a man who absolutely dwarfs him in size.]

This is our maiden voyage, after all.

Alright.

[Did he sound hesitant there? Because he felt unsure if that was the right answer, but he did as Lance asked, going back to the changing room to try on the shirts, coming out in one after another to show Lance]

[He inspects every one of them as Ulaz comes out, seeing how it looks with his skin tone and how it falls on his overly broad body. Shiro aside, he hasn't really had much experience with dressing up someone of Ulaz's stature, but he's sure as hell gonna be doing his best here.

As time passes, Lance places shirts into two piles, yes and no, the first having a little subdivision of things he will absolutely insist Ulaz get. How many he gets it up to him, but.]

[Ulaz continues to try them on, sometimes with varying levels of enthusiasm. Some of the shirts... he wasn't quite sure what to think of them. They did all seem to fit his frame well enough though.

As time passed he had begun to notice the piles building up. Now he was curious what they were for.

Finally though he had tried on the last one and changed back into the shirt he had been wearing to begun with]

Well?

[He smiles brightly at him as he points to the "yes" pile. Ulaz has been extremely patient with all of this, more than he can probably say about others he's taken clothes shopping before, and the whole thing has been fun.]

Those are the ones that work best. The upper section is stuff you definitely need to get. Other than that, whatever you want from the others.

[Surprising considering he hasn't been clothing shopping in so long this was probably more arduous than Lance would have thought it would be. He's not used to this sort of thing.

But he walked over to the pile that Lance had created with the best options for him. He was quiet as he sorted through first the "need to get" pile and then through the rest of the ones that worked]

You have helped others with this before?

Oh yeah, plenty of times. I have a pretty darn good sense of fashion if I may say so myself.

[And it's true. Some friends, though mostly girls, back in elementary school would ask him. Some in the Garrison. He'd also always helped Hunk pick out things that suited him, too.]

Well, I do like these and some of these I noticed liking when I tried them on.

[So Lance could keep his title. Ulaz seemed happy with for the most part with the choices. He sorts through as well, picking practically all of Lance's "must get pile"]

You are so much easier to shop for than certain other unnamed Blades I've done so with.

[Lance grins. He's definitely liking Ulaz more and more by the day; not that he didn't already like him before.]

Other Blades? I will assume that would be Keith.

[Since really, when else is going to get any of the others to go shopping.

But he did have a sizable collection of shirts to purchase now]

Thaaaaat would be correct. He's really, really stubborn when it comes to getting anything but the most simple things fashion-wise.

[One day, Keith...one day he'll get you more relaxed to it all.]
