Clerics on my world; they use their connection with their gods to summon energy to heal others. Some clerics, I've heard, are so powerful they can bring people back from the dead.
[Kramm frowns and tilts his head slightly.] Uh, no ... not like a, ah warlock, I mean it's not really their focus? Really, I'm not too knowledgeable on spellcasters in general but I do know you get hurt; you see a cleric.
Your doctors can't walk? [what happened. this must be before the traveling medics, if they're going straight to having a dude around to conduct last rites at the drop of a hat]
Of course they can walk. But they're not going to leave their businesses to follow around an adventuring party. Besides; Clerics can have some pretty diverse set of skills. Or maybe your doctors know how to swing a mace in the middle of battle?
