[ Kara has decided that she needs to meet more people again. The last few months have been... strange, and she's tired of feeling sad about the memories she recently received, so: posing a question to the masses it is! The video starts with her waving cheerily. ]

Hello! My name is Kara, if we haven't met. I'm on the Tourist and it's been awhile since I sent a fleetwide video and so I thought, heck, why not do one today?

If you feel like sharing, who is someone you'd want to show up here? Now, assume they could show up here but not be weighed down with the whole "not being able to leave and therefore being miserable" baggage. I guess, who do you miss? Anyone who might think this is a great big adventure?

I'll start. I'd want Winn to come back, obviously, but beyond that, I think my sister Alex would be a tremendous asset to the fleet, plus I just miss her a lot. I also recently remembered my friend Lena, who would be very interested in the whole situation. I think she'd be a great fit—she's one of the smartest people I know—and it'd be great to see her again.

[ He's spent the past few days wishing she was there on his world. ]

My dad's not around anymore. . . but he'd like you too.

I'm sorry to hear that... Jeremiah went missing shortly after I arrived. We thought he had died but it was more like he'd been kidnapped.

Which is just to say, I understand how hard it can be.

Yeah? [ He takes her hand and squeezes it. ]

Did you manage to find him?

[ she keeps hold of it, but her look gets a bit distant ]

It's... complicated. The short answer is yes. The long answer has to do with something called CADMUS.

[ He gives her a moment before asking softly. ]

Do you want to talk about it?

I'm not sure there's so much to say. It hit Alex really hard.

CADMUS is an organization that works to stop what they perceive to be an alien threat—from all aliens. They kidnapped Jeremiah all those years ago and he, I guess, works for them now. He betrayed Alex's trust, saying that he was doing it to protect her.

It's just so hard to know.

[ He feels a familiar bitterness. While it's true that he and Kara are both very powerful and dangerous because of that, it never fails to sting him that humans can set up places like CADMUS and paint everything unfamiliar with the same suspicious brush. ]

I can't even imagine. Especially if he's a friend of ours. [ He's someone the other Clark gave Kara to. He must have cared for him and worked with him to do that. ]

Is there no chance he'd be willing to listen?
