[Other people on the Marsiva can find Sheena poking around the kitchen or staring out the viewing windows. She's bothered by what she can see, and she's bothered by what she's not being told. Clutched in her hands are a pair of decorative chopsticks.]

[This is not Sheena's first space rodeo. She figures out what she's supposed to do after no time at all, really, though she's a bit annoyed. The camera shows the purple ninja framed by stars-- the window, she's not floating in space, thank goodness.]

Is this thing on? [She is 100 percent muscle and READY TO TUSSLE.] I'd like to have a few 'words' with whoever's in charge. I was supposed to be going somewhere important, not getting stuck in space again.

Also, the ships outside don't look like they're in good shape. What happened?

[Sheena sees the guilt, and her lip turns downward in a frown.]

I'm surprised the ship didn't try to help out or something. I guess there's no one driving this thing after all.

[Sheena rolls her shoulders in a shrug, then tries to smile it off.] Oh, um, I guess, but the place I just came from was frozen solid. It's really not a big deal.

It seems that way. If anyone is here, they haven't said hello yet...

[idk what she's expecting, a "Welcome to a Weird Spaceship Party" or something. Rude hosts are rude... But she is totally thrown off that train of thought by the last part of Sheena's statement]

Ah! You were frozen?

I've already looked around and I couldn't find anyone. It's... pretty creepy.

[Sheena shakes her head. She's not totally weirded out by the idea of Colette not remembering. It happened a couple times on Exsilium, and she has the nagging idea that these things might not be entirely connected? She's not sure.]

No, no, I was fine. But the place we were staying at was colder than Flanoir and sort of barren.

[Ooh, she notes what Sheena says. While she... wouldn't be surprised if she had missed something, Sheena knows a thing or two about a thing or two and she trusts her judgment and observation skills better. How strange, a huge empty ship?]

That's good... [Good that she was fine? but she's still obviously not putting all the pieces together] Where was that place?

[She rubs at the back of her neck. This whole thing is definitely freaking weird.]

They called it Exsilium. At one point we ended up in space, too.

So you were... somewhere else before this? [she's still wrapping her head around the idea that Lloyd and Zelos were here for months, now Sheena had experienced all that too? She suddenly felt very small for some reason]

Were you alone?

[Sheena knows how easily Colette can feel left out, so she tries to smile and be comforting. She may or may not be successful.]

I had Kaneis with me and the friends I made. You and Lloyd popped up too when we needed you the most, even if you don't remember.

I wasn't alone. So don't feel bad, okay?

[selfishly, a little left out, but more... worried. That her dear friends went through months of pain or sadness and she's ignorant to it all.]

I-I did? [She... appeared? Hearing that she's forgotten she bites back an apology and looks sheepish. There... are a lot of feelings swirling around, but she cuts through them by imitating contact again, reaching out and attempting to hold Sheena's hand]

Okay. I'm... I'm really glad that you haven't been alone. And I'll work really hard not to leave so.. I'm so glad that I'm here with you! [it's clumsy, but earnest]

[Sheena clasps her hand in return. If a teeny blush comes to her cheeks, it's no big deal. She's so kind, and she's gone through so much. Sheena can't help feeling like she needs to protect Colette a little.]

I'm glad you're here, too. I missed you a lot. I missed everyone, really, but-- you're one of the first friends I ever made.

[More like Colette shouting HEY LET'S BE FRIENDS and Sheena running in terror, but whatever.]

[STILL COUNTS!!!!! Haha, what nerds. Colette is probably blushing a tiny bit too, and is just... Ugh, Sheena you're a delight. She nods]

And now we're together with Lloyd and-- [ah! she pauses, and then realizes she isn't sure if Sheena has been brought up to date!]

Um, has Lloyd talked to you yet?

Yeah! I miss the others, but we'll see them again soon.

[Well, that's not entirely accurate. If they don't get brought here, and Sheena has a choice... she's staying with Kaneis. But she doesn't bring that up.]

Yeah, a little. What's up?

Zelos is here too, but he has a different name now, and he's... [she doesn't know how to describe it yet, because... well she hasn't talked to him yet!]

Lloyd said that he'll probably be able to talk eventually, but he's being really quiet right now. [wow somehow this just turned into Colette's mental vomit]

[fujibayashi]

[Sheena blinks once, twice, but she doesn't have the panicky sort of reaction one would expect.]

Kaneis, right?

[Colette's handling this really well. Sheena's glad.]

Don't worry, I know all about that. I, um... I chased him down in Exsilium. ... Multiple times. [She rubs at the back of her head.] I know the story, but I'm not sure it's mine to tell.

He'll come around. Just give him time.

[selfless]

[Oh... She puts it together. Ah. Aaaaah, that's who she was talking about. It all makes more sense. So that's what she meant when she wasn't really alone, he was... they grew together?

Mm, she smiles a little sadly but still looking happy.]

He'll be so glad that you're here.

[as for her advice, she nods]

I know. I'm not worried about that. [she is worried for his happiness, how hard this might be for him to tell this great story that no one else will share... but she has faith in their friendship, and faith in him. It can be rebuilt, she's sure of it]

I hope so. That jerk was supposed to wait for me.

[Things went... so poorly with Zelos and the others before. But Colette is incredible and kind, and something of a kindred soul to Zelos in a way that Sheena can never, ever understand.

They'll definitely become friends again. And Sheena can stop worrying about it.]

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried, but it's not because of you. He's just... he's hurt. You'd think he'd be crying and whining about it constantly, but he doesn't say anything at all.

[ah... If Colette was capable of wry smiles, she would make one now. Hurting inside so badly that it feels like you might break? But keeping it all deep inside. She understands that, intrinsically]

[she was about to just say 'I understand' but instead] I understand feeling that way. I'll do everything that I can.
