[Other people on the Marsiva can find Sheena poking around the kitchen or staring out the viewing windows. She's bothered by what she can see, and she's bothered by what she's not being told. Clutched in her hands are a pair of decorative chopsticks.]

[This is not Sheena's first space rodeo. She figures out what she's supposed to do after no time at all, really, though she's a bit annoyed. The camera shows the purple ninja framed by stars-- the window, she's not floating in space, thank goodness.]

Is this thing on? [She is 100 percent muscle and READY TO TUSSLE.] I'd like to have a few 'words' with whoever's in charge. I was supposed to be going somewhere important, not getting stuck in space again.

Also, the ships outside don't look like they're in good shape. What happened?

[ he was already surprised and excited enough when he saw Colette's transmission, that it actually made him a little hopeful in seeing the rest of his friends (though the chances were pretty low, considering how many worlds there are). cue his surprise when he hears that second familiar voice as he goes through transmissions, looking for calls for help.

holy crap WHERE ARE YOU ALL COMING FROM??? ]

Sheena! You're here too?! [ no Lloyd, this is a projection. also, feel free to ignore how he seems to be covered from head to toe in cuts and burns. ]

[Sheena's surprised to see Lloyd, but not quite as much as he is. She's met Lloyd a few times before in Exsilium. Still, he's... really happy to see her, and she can't help softening a bit. He's always happy to see her and it's kind of... really nice, even if he's, you know, ah whatever.]

Lloyd! Ah, yep, that's what it looks like. It's good to--

[She notices his cuts and burns though, and of course she has to remark on them.]

-- You're hurt! What happened?!

--Huh?

[ wait, she saw those? ugh, duh of course she did, he's on video. it takes him a moment to realize this. ]

Oh! Yeah, we were attacked a couple of days ago. Some guys tried to shoot us down, but we avoided most of it. I was in the engine room when it happened. [ AKA a ship's universal screaming metal deathtrap. ]

But we're okay, now! And these seriously aren't as bad as they look!

[She inhales sharply, bites her bottom lip.]

Attacked?! By who? I thought the war was over! Ugh, none of this makes any sense!

[She's still worried about him. Of course she is.]

What if those guys come back?

[Like Colette, Kaneis was ready to avoid, assuming it wasn't the Sheena he knew. Why were people coming from his home now? He didn't want to deal with this-]

[- But. He notices the chopsticks in her hand. He recognizes those chopsticks. It's hard not to considering he was the one to buy them. That's right- he remembers that now. The memories were suddenly not so fuzzy. Like pieces suddenly make sense all again. And her mentioning space again...]

[He turns the voice on for now. Since hey, why ruin the surprise of his hair being short just yet?]

[Sheena really ought to put them in her hair, but she likes the texture of them. It's a nice nervous habit to roll them in her fingers, to trace the shapes of the flowers. She's very tactile when bothered.

Zelos can see her face light up briefly before she clamps down on it and gets all huffy. As expected.]

There you are! I looked for you when I woke up, but I couldn't find you anywhere! I thought you weren't going to leave me behind!

[It was the other way around but whatever, THEY ARE A TEAM and she is Offended.]

[Yep. That is definitely his Sheena. He can't help but laugh in relief. Things make sense again and she's here.]

Hey, it's not like I planned being abducted by these guys! If anything, you're the one running late!

[Arguing like this is a lot better than dealing with, you know, actual feelings.]

[Colette calls out as soon as she rounds the corner and sees her friend, face lit up with relief. While it was nice to talk to Lloyd over the communicator, she's still a little nervous and it's so wonderful to see a friend there in front of her.

Soooo yeaaaaah..... Sheena sorry but you've got an excited angel friend coming over kind of wanting to give you a hug?]

Colette!

[Sheena hasn't seen her in so long. Yeah, hugs are definitely in order. She beams so brightly she feels like her face might split in half. It's been months.]

It's good to see you too! [IT'S HUG TIME AWWW YEAH.] Are you okay? These guys didn't do anything weird, right?

[Yay! Because Colette herself is so excited she doesn't question how wide the grin is, or why she would be just as excited if they only just saw each other the other day. That'll come up eventually... Anyway, Colette shakes her head at the question]

No, I'm alright. I think I was actually lucky... this big ship didn't get attacked like all the others. [and Sheena knows Colette well enough that she might see that flicker of guilt]

And, are you okay? Are you cold? [she remembers feeling weirdly cold when she woke up. Maybe she can find Sheena a sweater...?]

[Sheena sees the guilt, and her lip turns downward in a frown.]

I'm surprised the ship didn't try to help out or something. I guess there's no one driving this thing after all.

[Sheena rolls her shoulders in a shrug, then tries to smile it off.] Oh, um, I guess, but the place I just came from was frozen solid. It's really not a big deal.

There was kind of a really big space fight. Lots of... shootiness. But it's over now.

Ugh, that's not good. You think they'll come back?

I... I don't know for sure. I'm still new to this whole business. But there hasn't been any sign of them for a while... I think they might be gone for now at least.

Maybe everyone should just hide behind the big ship next time.

[ it's a few hours later from her broadcast that megumi can be found wandering around. when she sees sheena standing in the kitchen, she tilts her head but smiles. ]

Hi! Are you looking for something?

[fujibayashi]

[Sheena greets her with a gentle smile in return.]

I was just checking out what they have for food here. The place I was in before-- I ended up having to, um, sneak out and grab actual food to cook with because canned food is awful.

This is... slightly better, but some of it's still pretty questionable.

It looks kind of gross... [ she sticks out her tongue with a disgusted face. ]

I can't imagine worse!

Unfortunately, words won't do you much good, so I wouldn't waste my breath. Atroma isn't real good with feedback, and they haven't said a single thing since the fleet was attacked, so something tells me new arrival complaints won't be high on the to-do list, either.

[She missed his sass. But then she also notices the tattoos, and she remembers their conversation and-- oh. Now she looks concerned.]

Er... Axel, right?

[Oops. She touches her bottom lip, frowning.]

[He blinks. Another one? He searches her face a moment, but he can't for the life of him recognize her. How does she know that name? Is she from his future, too? She just looks so happy to see him, he kind of wishes he didn't have to tell her the truth. It's when her expression shifts to concern and she corrects herself that he looks downright unsettled.]

I... Yeah, it's Axel. [He squints a little, confusion and a hint of suspicion in his gaze.] I take it we've met? Sorry, I, ah... [He rubs the crown of his head.] I seem to be a little behind in the script.

[Sometime after her transmission, once Sheena visits the viewing windows, she'll find this loser with a bulky orange astronaut suit, the dome helmet he'd been wearing off to the side and on the floor, while he himself is pressed so close to the window that he had to push his visor up so that it wouldn't get in the way. He probably won't notice her there at first; Clay's too busy reeling in the fact that he's here, he made it, he's in space.]

[That's... a new guy. She blinks and watches him for a little while. He's... really fascinated by space, she guesses? She's not sure why, or what the huge helmet is for.

She puts the kanzashi in her hair and approaches him-- slowly, so as not to startle him too much.]

... Uh, you're not stuck, are you?

[... Sheena, no.]

[Clay hears the steps, but he hardly notices it. His childhood dream, finally, he did it... And he has no idea how it happened. Everything that happened before all of this is a blur, but he does remember that piercing pain in his chest. And when he woke up, there was no pain, only... this. This absolutely incredible sight, this feeling of happiness swelling up like a balloon in his chest - is this what Apollo felt when he got his badge?

So when he hears a voice, he does end up jumping a little, and pushing himself back from the window at that. On his butt now, he looks up at her and - wow, he doesn't recognize her at all. A new astronaut?]

Uh - huh? Wait, no - I'm fine! Gravity can't hold me down! [With that, Clay picks himself up off the ground, though with a bit of effort because of the suit, and gives her a grin.] Sorry, I spaced out a little there. [And he holds out his hand to shake.] Name's Clay! Clay Terran.
