Who: Sheena & you? Perhaps?
Broadcast: Video, fleet-wide!
Action: Only for people on the Marsiva
When: 4/8
[action;]
[Other people on the Marsiva can find Sheena poking around the kitchen or staring out the viewing windows. She's bothered by what she can see, and she's bothered by what she's not being told. Clutched in her hands are a pair of decorative chopsticks.]
[This is not Sheena's first space rodeo. She figures out what she's supposed to do after no time at all, really, though she's a bit annoyed. The camera shows the purple ninja framed by stars-- the window, she's not floating in space, thank goodness.]
Is this thing on? [She is 100 percent muscle and READY TO TUSSLE.] I'd like to have a few 'words' with whoever's in charge. I was supposed to be going somewhere important, not getting stuck in space again.
Also, the ships outside don't look like they're in good shape. What happened?

[You know what, he's gonna start working on getting that "armor" off as he talks because it's fucking heavy, man. Luckily, he has clothes on underneath, as he saw earlier when he frantically checked his torso to see if - well, yeah.]
It's a space suit! We astronauts - that's people who're trained to be a crew member on a space craft - we wear it to make space travel easier for us. This one here's mostly for launch and entry portions of flight, though they recently modified them to be used inside and outside the ship - out in space itself! See, if you have a suit just for inside the ship, then it's lighter and more comfortable to use. But if you're counting outside it, too...
[When the suit drops to the floor, it does so with a large THUNK.]
... It's a lot heavier.

Wow, no kidding! You must be pretty strong to wear that all the time. It sounds like it's heavier than a set of chainmail.
[She touches her chin.]
I didn't know about astronauts. I spent some time on a... base? It was in space, sort of, on the moon. But no one wanted to be there, and we couldn't go anywhere for a long time. It just wasn't a pleasant experience.

But oh man, she was on the moon? ... And no one wanted to be there?]
How did - Was there - [Oh god, he wants to ask all about how the base was getting its oxygen, how they managed to get a building on the moon, everything. But she said she didn't like it, and she probably doesn't know the answers to his questions, so he holds himself back from it all.] I mean... how did you get out of there?
