Actually, we DO age when we go home, if you're away long enough. I know I sure did. You can also age if you buy the right upgrades for your augment, but that's less...natural and more "hey you're gonna age a year in a month, have fun!".

The rest is pretty on point, though.

What about the other stuff, the muscle atrophy and dehydration parts? Is medical care necessary?

Oh yeah, that's legit. I think if you need medical help differs from person to person. The first time I went home, I was gone for three years- though only like a week or two had passed. I felt pretty rough, but nothing that I needed medical care for.

No, that's not what I mean. Even for a coma of only a couple weeks, muscle atrophy could occur. You'd absolutely need an IV and catheter at the very least, if your body was still functioning.

Do you know if you needed any of that while you were out, while your body was aging?

OH that. No, I was fine on that front? Woozy, feeling a little like I'd be run over by a sky bison, but not needing any medical stuff. But, I mean, I think Atroma does that? I'd broken my leg literally before I first arrived here, and it was healed when I got beamed on the Marsiva. Atroma can do weird stuff.

So as far as I know, nope. I was just left to sleep. That's what I've seen with lots of other coma folks, too.

It's probably a good idea. I mean, Atroma can change the rules any time they please.

They could, but I have a feeling they won't without some sort of impetus.

Maybe if our ratings dropped, or whatever. I always wondered if that's why they do calibrations when they do. Maybe its when something else comes on the TV to divert people's attention.

Just wondering how together 'Atroma' is to begin with. Just combing through their official communications has brought up a lot of questions.

That's what usually happens. We get something like an answer, then we get a ton more questions to go with it. I mean, we don't know for sure what Atroma even are- other than absolutely having the power possible to take people from other worlds.

As a general rule back where I'm from, the more power one person has, the more likely they are to destroy either themselves or someone else with it.

Just trying to figure out which direction the possibility is leaning here.

That sounds pretty accurate to me.

I mean. I guess it could be possible? Just about anything is.

I'm having difficulty swallowing that 'anything is possible' explanation the longer I'm here. Every organization, every society, every world has its own laws. The laws might change now and then, but they exist. We just need to hammer down some of the more stubborn ones.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure a place where an organisation can literally kidnap hundreds of people and force them onto a TV show doesn't have any laws, dude.
