Actually, we DO age when we go home, if you're away long enough. I know I sure did. You can also age if you buy the right upgrades for your augment, but that's less...natural and more "hey you're gonna age a year in a month, have fun!".

The rest is pretty on point, though.

What about the other stuff, the muscle atrophy and dehydration parts? Is medical care necessary?

Oh yeah, that's legit. I think if you need medical help differs from person to person. The first time I went home, I was gone for three years- though only like a week or two had passed. I felt pretty rough, but nothing that I needed medical care for.

No, that's not what I mean. Even for a coma of only a couple weeks, muscle atrophy could occur. You'd absolutely need an IV and catheter at the very least, if your body was still functioning.

Do you know if you needed any of that while you were out, while your body was aging?

OH that. No, I was fine on that front? Woozy, feeling a little like I'd be run over by a sky bison, but not needing any medical stuff. But, I mean, I think Atroma does that? I'd broken my leg literally before I first arrived here, and it was healed when I got beamed on the Marsiva. Atroma can do weird stuff.

So as far as I know, nope. I was just left to sleep. That's what I've seen with lots of other coma folks, too.

All right, I'll note that...somehow. With how much we still don't understand I might just have to keep it vague.

The only thing I can think of is my Captain aged between the last time I was here and now. I believe his augment was upgraded, just like when we put in requests normally. I didn't get a chance to ask him in great detail but I have his medical files from then to now.

[A beat.]

I also tried to remove my Augment but wasn't successful and it didn't kill me. I've also disappeared for six months only to come back, though I woke up on the Marsiva like last time so I'm not sure if I was just in some kind of stasis on the Marsiva the whole time or if I really did go home. Do we know anyone who can confirm what dying here is like? Not that I want to just outright ask someone.

I'll adjust that answer. I'm not sure how to mark you disappearing for six months...maybe I'll add a clause that people can leave for an extended period of time and come back with memories. Or something.

I've died here, as well as a few others. The example I have linked in the FAQ answer leads to a post where I asked others to share their experiences with it. If you want something more detailed, I don't mind talking about it. [hahaha yes he does, but he'll do it]
