[gestures to the chair across from him. have a seat. unless you wanna go get that coffee first.] Thanks for coming.

[Wow, you're boring. But at least not in a terrible way. She sits down across from him, propping her chin on both hands. She can stow her usual bullshit for important things.]

Aizawa. [he's got a coffee, anyway. black.] I saw it too, but didn't think to try and record it. Stupid of me.

My friend was a police officer. I think she wanted it as a cautionary tale for later, but I couldn't be sure.

[Look she can be reasonably honest if she couches it as my friend. Whatever works.]

Considering what happened? That the footage was scrubbed at all says more than enough. We weren't supposed to see that. [which of course just makes aizawa want a physical record even more.] Hell, at this point, I want to preserve it just out of spite.

It's a pity we can't put memories to images, isn't it? I suppose you could draw it, but it doesn't exactly have the same impact.

[...hm. he hadn't thought of that.] Know anybody up to that? [testing.]

Drawing? Or the more fantastical former?

I wouldn't say no to fantastical. But drawing will do in the meantime.

[She wishes she could do the fantastical. But after a moment of watching him thoughtfully, she leans forward to peel a serviette away from the table-holder, fishing a pencil out from her sleeve.]

Did you know I was a sketch artist back home?

[Of course he didn't.]

[watches her with that half-suspicious look on his face again, eyes flicking down to the pencil, back up to her face.

tilts his head just a touch.] Another friend?

[The smile she returns is a blatant thing.] You'd be surprised how many friends I have in the police force.

[It'll still take her a bit working on such a medium, but when she's done she spins the serviette around by a corner to show a recognisable sketch of their new hosts. You know, the ones that aren't horribly dead.]

Good enough quality for your needs?

[he doesn't get the reason for the thinly-veiled secrecy, but what the fuck ever. she's good enough and she's willing to assist, or at least prove that she can.

he picks up the sheet to study it.] Your friend's talented. [sets it back down.] What does your friend charge?

If she absolutely has to charge, she likes fish. [He's not asking her about the lying, so points in his favour tbh.] She has cats to feed.

I'll keep that in mind. [you're definitely gonna get some fish, pal] Would your friend need anything else from me?

My friend likes art and doesn't like the Atroma. [Easily.] The more she can help, the better, I'm sure.

Then I appreciate you acting as liaison. [stands up and pulls his cup of coffee closer. no need to dilly dally around.] Thanks for your time. I'll wait to hear back from you.

[You got it, Mr Business Man. She waves casually as she slides out of her hair.] So long, and thanks for all the fish?

[Couldn't resist okay, she grins and is out the door.]
