[At last, the day has come: Festival Day! Once again, the Starstrikers have taken the trophy this year. But that doesn't mean members of other teams, or those who didn't play, can't celebrate with the rest of them!

There are parties everywhere. Ribbons, streamers, and confetti litter every major street in the system. (Remember what they say about glitter...) There is food on every block, and people cramming into shops to get in on the merch.

Don't forget about the reason for the festival-- the pet adoption drive! A large playground-type area has been set up on the Starstrikers' desert moon where people can play and interact with the lovable creatures needing new homes. Whether you're looking for companionship or just something to do, there's plenty to coo over! Every pet comes with an info card listing a fanciful name and a general description of their age and temperament. Maybe Sir Pringle the puppy or Marquess Mariana the fish can become your new best friend.

Sadly, the Fleet will be drifting in about a week... but feel free to party until then!]

[After a moment she just turns the video on and it's a loud din of sound, but she points the camera around the room showing off a wide range of styles from classy to sporty casual, but largely staying within the winning team's colors before pointing the video back at herself where she blows him a kiss before turning it back off.

[Oh so it's going to be that kind of night. Kurt grins to himself after the video shuts off, and tosses aside the button-up he'd been considering.

Roughly a half hour later, the blue bastard can be seen weaving through the crowd in this get-up. Somehow he's already acquired a drink, and is sipping at it as he nears his emote-spamming friend.] I approve of the dress!

[She dances over to him and keeps dancing once she reaches him, heedless of his drink.] I approve of the...this. [Pointing up and down at him.]

[Kurt transfers his drink from hand to tail, raising it above both their heads.] What good is having a body like this if I don't show it off now and then? [He holds out his newly-freed hand to her in silent suggestion. It really has been too long since he danced because the mun is horrible at describing it.]

How do you fit all that confidence into such a tight outfit? [She looks amused as she happily takes hand. The dancing can describe itself!]

Ah, there's the trick of it. [He leans in as they move out to the dance floor, as though bestowing on her some great secret.] The tight outfit is crucial to containing it. Otherwise it might just float away.

Oh good. I guess that means my confidence is safe for tonight. [Hers isn't exactly a flowing gown or baggy sweats this evening.] It's been doing pretty good so far. I might have invited the whole fleet here. Who can remember?
