festival day!
Who: EVERYONE
Broadcast: Up to you
Action: Everywhere in the Yadrolla system!
When: 5/30
[At last, the day has come: Festival Day! Once again, the Starstrikers have taken the trophy this year. But that doesn't mean members of other teams, or those who didn't play, can't celebrate with the rest of them!
There are parties everywhere. Ribbons, streamers, and confetti litter every major street in the system. (Remember what they say about glitter...) There is food on every block, and people cramming into shops to get in on the merch.
Don't forget about the reason for the festival-- the pet adoption drive! A large playground-type area has been set up on the Starstrikers' desert moon where people can play and interact with the lovable creatures needing new homes. Whether you're looking for companionship or just something to do, there's plenty to coo over! Every pet comes with an info card listing a fanciful name and a general description of their age and temperament. Maybe Sir Pringle the puppy or Marquess Mariana the fish can become your new best friend.
Sadly, the Fleet will be drifting in about a week... but feel free to party until then!]

CLUBBING FOREVER LATE
All the more reason to grab a drink and make a couple of memories, and only slightly bad choices.
It takes him a bit to spot Kurt in the masses, surprised to see the other out in the crowd, though he appreciates the other's attire. He is his normal black v-neck, fitted leather team jacket, jeans, and boots. Nothing exciting, but they fit him well in a former country boy kind of way. He moves along the rim of the crowd around to Kurt, reaching to grip his arm to get his attention above the din.
"Hey! So you do believe in pants when clubbing!" A call back to the Halloween social, where Kurt had not worn pants but that rather attractive loin cloth number. Pity. Kirt wouldn't have minded a re-appearance of that one.
Re: CLUBBING FOREVER LATE
On his world, he'd never dare drink enough to slow his reflexes the slightest; yet here on an alien planet, Kurt's tipsy enough for the tension in his shoulders to loosen, and with it the bright edge of paranoia. When Kurt feels a hand curl around his arm, he still turns quickly as ever to see who the grasp belongs to, but his own hand only tightens slightly around his glass.
A smile slowly blooms across his face when he recognizes the other man, and his half-turn continues until he's fully facing Jim, his free hand moving to rest idly on the other man's arm. "Only when I have to get ready in a hurry," he answers with a soft chuckle that might not even be audible over the noise. "I'd planned to stay in, but Katzchen sent me a message wanting company." And he found himself having fun, despite some awkward moments earlier in the evening.
Re: CLUBBING FOREVER LATE
"Oh, I hope I'm not interrupting a date," Kirk said, his tone somewhere between teasing and sincerity, eyes widening ever so slightly in the pulsing light.
As it was, his weight shifted a fraction to press more into the touch on his arm, enjoying it compared to that of the strangers he had been bumping up against until now. His smile remains in place, easy enough on its own, but the alcohol probably helps. That, and being around Kurt. He had come to enjoy trying to flirt with him as part of the game of knowing him, and their shared kiss a few months ago always came to mind when he looked at him now.
"Or maybe you need rescuing?" he leaned up to laugh close to Kurt's ear.
Re: CLUBBING FOREVER LATE
The laugh against his ear raises goosebumps on his arms and his velvet fur with it. "Wouldn't that be an unusual turn of events," he answers, tilting his head up to answer Jim in kind. "I'm normally the dashing rogue coming to the rescue."
