[At last, the day has come: Festival Day! Once again, the Starstrikers have taken the trophy this year. But that doesn't mean members of other teams, or those who didn't play, can't celebrate with the rest of them!

There are parties everywhere. Ribbons, streamers, and confetti litter every major street in the system. (Remember what they say about glitter...) There is food on every block, and people cramming into shops to get in on the merch.

Don't forget about the reason for the festival-- the pet adoption drive! A large playground-type area has been set up on the Starstrikers' desert moon where people can play and interact with the lovable creatures needing new homes. Whether you're looking for companionship or just something to do, there's plenty to coo over! Every pet comes with an info card listing a fanciful name and a general description of their age and temperament. Maybe Sir Pringle the puppy or Marquess Mariana the fish can become your new best friend.

Sadly, the Fleet will be drifting in about a week... but feel free to party until then!]

[It's very hard to play it cool when shit like this happens. Crowley grimaces, before letting out an annoyed exhale, waving a hand in an attempt to stop the snakes- letting out a soft hiss for good measure, because maybe they'll listen to their own. ]

No, actually. Truth is often malleable when faced with belief.

But people can deeply believe in something without ever seeing a grain of truth about it. I mean, that's most religions, right? Built on belief that's unshakeable with zero proof.

I would think a demon would know better than to use religion as an example to a God.

Why? I'd like to think I'm from exactly the sort of poison to do that. You're not mine.

No. Mortals choose to worship gods. Demons are created to lead mortals astray.

Gods exist for themselves. What people do with our stories is their business, not ours.

Demons used to be angels, you know. In fact, there's little difference between us on the whole dealing with mortals front. And I happen to be a demon in one of those stories.

Regardless, you aren't worshipped where I'm from, not any more. Mortals are fickle- you guys go out of fashion quicker than you think.

Worship is for mortals, not gods. Just like how angels and demons are made to serve.
