Meet your new resident werewolf
Who: Randolph Lyall, the crew of the SS Blameless, and YOU if you're either visiting the Blameless on catching the parts that are broadcasted
Broadcast: Fleetwide for the parts that are not action.
Action: SS Blameless
When: Immediately after full moon so starting on May 31st and onwards as Lyall settles down.
[Action - SS Blameless - After the Full Moon]
[There was a really good reason for Lyall to quickly leave the Heron after being shuffled there and that reason was the full moon and the need for Lyall to be confined in the consolidated cargo hall on the Blameless with Biffy. Unfortunately, that left very little time for introductions, so the rest of the crews was mostly treated to howls and growls and weird sounds from said cargo hall as it contained two wolves this time around.
Once full moon is over and they are allowed out, both Biffy and Lyall will crash for a while in Biffy's quarters, but soon enough Lyall will get dressed again and venture out. Time to meet the crew and properly introduce himself.]
[Action + Broadcast]
[Lyall is a small man who looks unassuming and makes every effort to remain seen as such. His first days as a notwolf aboard the Blameless will be devoted to settling in his surroundings. Apparently, that involves a lot of just walking around everywhere he can, opening every door that is not locked and just a whole lot of sniffing around. So he could very well end up in your bedroom or your working space if they're not secure.
He's not hiding, necessarily, but he's so easily overlooked most of the time that he doesn't need to.]
Would anyone happen to know how we get... recorded for this 'show'?

But being watched all the time? That sounds extremely creepy.]
I have to say it's extremely unsettling and not quite... easy to ignore.
[Especially for someone so used to being unnoticed.]
Re: video;
I know. Creepy doesn't even begin to cover it, but it also a reality that, so far, we haven't been able to find a work around for.
[ His voice is sympathetic, really it is. He doesn't like it more than anyone else, but without knowing where the source feeds were it was hard to disarm them. ]

Re: video;
Even in my time it still requires a device, even a small one. There's something they're using, just, like I said, don't know what.
Which, as it turns out, is the answer to a lot of the questions and concerns you have about this place.

[Honestly at this point, Lyall has had enough for scheming and plotting for a lifetime, but it always comes back to bite him when he tries to stay away from trouble.]
The cargo hall on the Blameless was more than adequate to hold my Lord and I, by the way. Since you were kindly offering some more space. I don't believe it will be necessary for now, and if things continue to progress at this pace and are regular, we should be fine.
Re: video;
I'm glad it worked out then. My offer will stay open, just in case though.
Have you been down to the planet at all or have you been on the ships? The feeling of being watched lessens on the planets, at least, if you want some relief from that.
video;
We... haven't gone down yet, no.
[Because three days as a wolf and then Biffy kept him in the bedroom for a while /ahem.]
Re: video;
[ He stares for a moment, one eyebrow cocked up and a knowing little smirk on his face. Oh, he can bet, Lyall. ]
Well, if you get some time before we leave, you should. Might be a culture shock, but this is as good a planet as any to get it out of your system, and pick up things you might need that didn't come with you on the Marsiva.
video;
How long do we normally stay around the same planet?
Re: video;
Usually about a month or so - three to four weeks, sometimes a bit more depending. Sometimes it feels like a long while. Other times like no time at all.
But we haven't repeated a planet twice either, as far as I know.
[ Which is both entirely possible and also astounding at the same time. ]

Re: video;
You got it. And no way to tell exactly where we are either - just know what we know when we come up on a planet and get let loose to explore.

Re: video;
Something like that. I imagine if we stepped to far out of line, they could use the augments to do something. So far it seems they haven't. But even if it is an illusion, it's a nice one for a bit most of the time.

Re: video;
Perhaps it might, perhaps not. You're entitled to your opinion. It's not a wrong one. After two years I admit I probably a bit complacent.

Re: video;
Who knows, maybe you'll be the kick in the pants a lot of us need.
video;
[Except with Biffy. He will kick his Alpha's ass into shape if he has to. The rest of you, though? Meh.]
