When: Immediately after full moon so starting on May 31st and onwards as Lyall settles down.

[Action - SS Blameless - After the Full Moon]

[There was a really good reason for Lyall to quickly leave the Heron after being shuffled there and that reason was the full moon and the need for Lyall to be confined in the consolidated cargo hall on the Blameless with Biffy. Unfortunately, that left very little time for introductions, so the rest of the crews was mostly treated to howls and growls and weird sounds from said cargo hall as it contained two wolves this time around.

Once full moon is over and they are allowed out, both Biffy and Lyall will crash for a while in Biffy's quarters, but soon enough Lyall will get dressed again and venture out. Time to meet the crew and properly introduce himself.]

[Lyall is a small man who looks unassuming and makes every effort to remain seen as such. His first days as a notwolf aboard the Blameless will be devoted to settling in his surroundings. Apparently, that involves a lot of just walking around everywhere he can, opening every door that is not locked and just a whole lot of sniffing around. So he could very well end up in your bedroom or your working space if they're not secure.

He's not hiding, necessarily, but he's so easily overlooked most of the time that he doesn't need to.]

Would anyone happen to know how we get... recorded for this 'show'?

_{[ Oh good, Lyall had gotten rotated off. He knew he would, of course, but it was always a relief to see it. Being on the Marsiva was creepy, if you asked him, even if the living conditions quality wise could be considered better. ]}

I don't think anyone is 100% sure. And my personal opinion is that this isn't for a show at all. But we do know they can see us. Eventually you just kind of learn to push that notion to the back of your mind, otherwise you'll end up twitchy all the time.

[He's been rotated off and then Biffy pretty much kidnapped him to the Blameless. he is so not complaining about that.

But being watched all the time? That sounds extremely creepy.]

I have to say it's extremely unsettling and not quite... easy to ignore.

I know. Creepy doesn't even begin to cover it, but it also a reality that, so far, we haven't been able to find a work around for.

I can't seem to see any devices that could be used for this either. Of course, technology where I come from is not yet able to record images in that way although we do have photography, but it still requires the use of some sort of device.

Even in my time it still requires a device, even a small one. There's something they're using, just, like I said, don't know what.

[Hey there, Lyall. Don't mind the big-horned grey guy. He's pretty personable, really. He's taken note of all Lyall's sniffing on the feed, though. That's...normal.

He smiles.]

[Being from a country where supernatural creatures are integrated into society, Lyall does expect most of them - or most of the ones who look like them - to be civilized, and usually acts in accordance with that belief until it is disproven.

He is also a gentleman, and as such he believes in the power of manners. So while the man's appearance is rather... shocking the first time you see him, it gets nothing more than a slight widening of eyes before the werewolf falls back on his education and manners to react.]

Professor Randolph Lyall. We do all appear to be stuck in the same boat, so I hope we can get on well with each other.

Sort of. [He smiles, though.] There are a lot of boats. Space boats. It's weird crap. Is that normal crap to you, Professor?

[He watches the feed thoughtfully for a moment, though. So, from his expression, the Prof. here's never seen anything like him, but he's seen weird.

Maybe he's weird. Time will tell.]

The most advanced air travel available in my world are dirigibles. Space travel is but the fancy of a few writers who publish feuilletons in newspapers, although astronomy is a popular science.

Uh...yeah. I mean people study the stars, sure, and the moons, but...no. Nobody's gone into space.

[He tries for a while to connect that word to anything in his understanding in the languages he speaks...and can't.]

[Ulaz vaguely remembers seeing someone new on the ship before Biffy disappeared into cargo hold because of the full moon. His hearing was good enough that he was able to pick out sounds of multiple wolves so it was definitely safe to say there was another werewolf on the ship.

Also he had a copy of the roster being first mate and all.

Ulaz happened to be in the kitchen when the other walked in]

[Lyall has been walking around - snooping around - the ship, memorizing the layout, the passageways, where everything is. Important information to know in case of an emergency.

Also he is dressed in much the same manner as Biffy, although his suit is in a muted brown and obviously less expensive, and when he opes his mouth to speak, the same cultured British accent comes out.]

Good morning, sir. I should have introduced myself earlier, but I am afraid I was rather indisposed these last few days. I'm Randolph Lyall and I have been transferred to your ship.

[The outfit gave a clue. The accent practically solidified that Sandalio and this other human were from the same place. Well... not human, but still]

I'm sure. [Since he knows about the werewolf thing] I am Ulaz, the lab support technician and first mate of the Blameless.

Would you like some tea?

Tea would be lovely, thank you.

[He will take a seat, too, clearly ready for a chat.]

I would assume I would need to talk to you or our Captain to be assigned some duties.

[Ulaz begins the task of making another cup of tea as the other sits. He's learned from the best at least since both Sandalio and Shiro drank tea]

Either I suppose. What sort of augment did you receive from the Atroma? What skills do you have from home?

[So, honestly, the idea that they've got (multiple) werewolves on board is not a thing that really...puts Felix at ease. It would be a little unsettling for anyone, he thinks and there's this other thing...his kneejerk reaction to anyone not exactly human, people who have extra-human abilities. It's not exactly the most unfounded reaction, but it isn't a good one either.

And he does like Biffy. And he's trying, he's trying really hard these days not to jump to the worst conclusion.

He spends at least some of his day most days in the lounge, which is where he'll be as Lyall roams around inspecting the ship and looking for crew. He's got a book open in his lap and his comm in his hands, typing something while looking occasionally at the book.]

[Lyall would never fault anyone for being a bit wary of werewolves when it seems people in this place have this idea that werewolves actually want to be slathering beasts and eat people. It might take a bit of time to disabuse them of the notion. Even in Enlightened England, there are still anti-supernatural sentiments. He has learned to brush them off, mostly, but still keeps his ear on the ground.

When he notices someone new upon entering the lounge, he stops for a second.]

Good day, sir. I am Randolph Lyall, and I am newly arrived on board this ship.

[Also, you know, Felix's world never had actual werewolves living in it to allow anyone the chance to disabuse that notion.

At the sound of an unfamiliar voice, Felix looks up curiously. Then he sets the book and comm aside so that he can stand up and extend a hand.]

Hi. Felix Gaeta, nice to meet you.

[sandywolf]

Likewise.

[Lyall will shake the other's hand.]

As I have just arrived I have yet to have duties assigned to me. May I ask what you yourself do on the ship?

I'm one of the pilots. Having two is really mostly unnecessary on this sort of ship but I guess the Atroma know what they're doing.

[Only a little bit sarcastic. They probably do, but it's nothing good.]
