Meet your new resident werewolf
Who: Randolph Lyall, the crew of the SS Blameless, and YOU if you're either visiting the Blameless on catching the parts that are broadcasted
Broadcast: Fleetwide for the parts that are not action.
Action: SS Blameless
When: Immediately after full moon so starting on May 31st and onwards as Lyall settles down.
[Action - SS Blameless - After the Full Moon]
[There was a really good reason for Lyall to quickly leave the Heron after being shuffled there and that reason was the full moon and the need for Lyall to be confined in the consolidated cargo hall on the Blameless with Biffy. Unfortunately, that left very little time for introductions, so the rest of the crews was mostly treated to howls and growls and weird sounds from said cargo hall as it contained two wolves this time around.
Once full moon is over and they are allowed out, both Biffy and Lyall will crash for a while in Biffy's quarters, but soon enough Lyall will get dressed again and venture out. Time to meet the crew and properly introduce himself.]
[Action + Broadcast]
[Lyall is a small man who looks unassuming and makes every effort to remain seen as such. His first days as a notwolf aboard the Blameless will be devoted to settling in his surroundings. Apparently, that involves a lot of just walking around everywhere he can, opening every door that is not locked and just a whole lot of sniffing around. So he could very well end up in your bedroom or your working space if they're not secure.
He's not hiding, necessarily, but he's so easily overlooked most of the time that he doesn't need to.]
Would anyone happen to know how we get... recorded for this 'show'?

[Only a little bit sarcastic. They probably do, but it's nothing good.]

I was about to say the exact opposite, to be honest. I am pretty sure confining a bunch oh humans with two werewolves in a metallic hull floating in space is not 'knowing what you are doing'.
[Might as well get that out of the way, it's a valid concern, it will come up at one point.]
It is good that the cargo hold is sturdy enough to confine us at least. It would have been worrisome otherwise.

When Lyall specifically brings up the werewolf issue, there's a certain way that Felix's expression shutters. Briefly. Not necessarily fear or aggression, just...a very deliberate lack of expression. Especially considering that he'd appeared relatively friendly and open moments before.
It passes, too. Takes a few long moments, but then he goes back to looking wry. His own brows are just a little raised as well.]
Oh, I don't know. Just because they're doing something potentially dangerous doesn't mean they don't know what they're doing.
[Assuming that they don't means assuming their intentions are towards safety of the crew. And not drama.]
But it didn't seem like there was an issue, anyway.

This reaction is... different from all that. Very guarded. he has to wonder if a werewolf ever did something bad to the gentleman to provoke such a thing, really.]
The holding facility are completely adequate, yes. And having two of us is actually a better guarantee that things will be quieter. Not in a literal sense, I am afraid, and I do apologize for the howling, but at least we will be more settled.

[Even though he doesn't love the idea or subject of werewolves, he's curious about it now that they're talking. Added to that is the fact that it's just probably a good idea to get what information he can. Maybe it will help keep him from those conclusions he's not supposed to jump to.
But even as he asks the question, Felix realizes he might have an answer himself.]
Pack mentality?
[They may not have had werewolves back home, but they still had wolves.]

[When transformed, they are not so different from actual wolves, after all, apart from their superior strength and intelligence.]
Not only that, But my Lord is an Alpha werewolf, and they really are not meant to be alone. They need their pack. so even just me is better than no one at all.
I hope he wasn't too much trouble before my arrival.
no subject
So, he doesn't end up having to clarify.]
He seemed pretty okay to me, actually. [Though, in retrospect and having seen Biffy after Lyall arrived, Felix can see that relatively, he's doing much better than he was.] Though he was very...busy.
[With decorating.....]
no subject
I am sure he was. He probably needed a distraction so as not to overwhelm you too much.
[You all are very lucky you only got away with decorating.]
I will do my best to rein him in a little but he should be fine now.

[Felix shrugs, but looks pleasant enough.]
What position did you get assigned to? I mean, which augment.
no subject
[You can't engineer anything with fur and claws.]
no subject
[Since Gil's already been managing engineering.
...Felix really will have to come to terms with this werewolf thing, won't he? He spends a decent amount of his time keeping Gil company in the engine room.]
