Who: Sam Winchester
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: SS Bloodsport
When: Now-ish!
[Man, he had the nicest dream. And yeah, he knows it's just a dream, because it's nice. That's literally the criteria the dude works with most nights. His brother and mother and Cas, they were all sitting in the bunker enjoying a movie, or something. He couldn't remember the movie exactly, but there were people who were definitely supposed to be dead there. And they had retired, and it was all good, and they were talking about fishing nearby where it's really abandoned —
When he peels his eyes open he feels like he has the biggest hangover of his life — and is more than a little uneasy (that dream didn't help), and before long he's shuffling through the halls of the Bloodsport like a full month of being missing didn't happen. He knows something's off for sure, but, um. He's also half-awake, hair askew and palm pressing into the socket of one eye to stave off a migraine.]
Man, where'd this even come from...
[Don't worry, it'll go away eventually. He'll just. Make some coffee. Yes.
He sits down with his cup of coffee and turns on his comm device, and nearly spits his drink on it.]
I've been out a month!?
[AW MAN, NOT LOST TIME AGAIN.
Sam Winchester and lost time, not buddies, thanks.
A little while later, after he catches up with his buddies:]
[VOICE.]
Hey, uh. So. I've been out a while. Sorry about that — It's been a hell of a... time... I guess. To be honest, I can't really say it feels like it's been that long. I might as well pick up right where I left off, though — right. Blood drives are at the Iskaulit; I'll be available throughout the next few days for that, if you're interested in donating blood.
You do have some paperwork to fill out, and I'm keeping the cut-off at 16, but for those who qualify, it can be a matter of life or death around here when things go crazy.
For anyone new, hey — I'm Sam Winchester, employee at The Space Bar. I also loan out books from my personal stash if you're feeling bored. If you're a new face to me, I'd love to learn more about you, especially what kind of earth or universe you're from. We all seem to have pretty interesting diverging paths at some point, even if the rest of our Earths match up pretty well.
... Like for example, imaginary friends are real in my world, and Snooki is a demon.

video;
How much do you charge for the blood?
video;
Are you a vampire, or do you just want to own a vial of blood?
Threadjack - video (can move if you prefer just lmk!)
[ that is news to him and he's very conflicted about it... ]
video
[He quirks a brow.]
We don't have anyone at the moment who actually needs blood to survive either, but if an situation comes up where someone does, I'd rather have blood packets available on standby than someone's neck. At least until a better alternative's reached.
Re: video
I mean maybe I got it wrong. I'm on the Blue Fish -have been since I got here. And we had a talk about it, me bein' a vampire and all. He just made the point that people donatin' probably don't want their blood goin' to someone's dinner. Which, yeah, I get it! So I never pressed.
[ shrug! ]
But if that's changin', I mean, for obvious reasons, I'm interested. And obviously I wouldn't want handouts or some shit. I'll pay or help or.. Whatever.
video
[He's pretty sure he'd have heard by now if you were like the guy who had gone full cuckoo and took a chomp at Nami. The fleet's so small, it's hard to get away with anything, anyway.]
You take blood capsules like he did?
video
But yeah. Blood capsules. [ and his almost-boyfriend... before he left, too. Womp womp. ] Taste like dog biscuits and metal, but hey, I'm not dyin'.
video
[Stefan didn't seem like someone who wanted it out there.]
What happens if you get blood? Is it possible you'll lose control with that kind of temptation? No offense — I'm just used to it being a cause for addiction problems, or backtracking towards older, more dangerous habits.

[ He sighs, tries for a smile even though it's... a little bit awkward. ]
Sorry. This high caution thing is still weird for me. And I get it - totally not blamin' you at all. But in my world, there are laws and shit. You don't just go around bitin' people. ... Unless you're some kinda psycho or serial killer or somethin'.
no subject
... Since you're being honest with me, I can be honest in return: where I'm from, I'm often hunting vampires due to their habit of leaving body trails. There are a few that feed on bloodbags or cattle, but more often than not they're dropping fatalities or turning people.
no subject
Sounds like a bunch of monsters. [ And that ain't me, his tone implies. He shrugs, crosses his arms. ] And you're a hunter? Good to know. I've met hunters from other worlds before. So like I said, I get the caution. And you probably get this all the time? But you don't need to worry about me. [ He cracks another smile. Har har. ]

Besides, I've been in these multiple universe scenarios so much the last three or four years, I'm just used to it at this point. Nothing's quite so dangerous as home, in terms of super-powered or non-human types.
... Thank god for that, too. The Atroma are effort enough to work around.
no subject
[ His smile turns softer, much closer to his usual friendly. ] And hey, thanks for bein' honest with me too. And not freakin' out. Also it's not really a secret, so don't worry about not tellin' anyone else - if it happens, it happens.
[ Beat. ] And yeah, if it is cool to ask for blood sometimes so I can not take these damn pills or awkwardly try to ask system natives, totally serious, I'll pay. Or owe favors, or somethin'.
no subject
If you want, I can offer some of mine.
[He shrugs, giving in. He's got his own stash, but he's admittedly been unsure if he should be giving people his — the demon blood thing. It feels like he's... you know. Corrupting them, or something. But blood-drinkers, they don't seem adversely effected by it, so.]
That way you're not worried about getting the blood of someone who didn't offer it.
It's not often something drinks my blood after asking nicely, anyway.
no subject
[ He kinda does a double-take, laughs a little - awkward, more than anything. Grateful! But awkward. ]
I mean, really? Like, you're just offerin'? Huh. ... Thanks, man. I might seriously take you up on that sometime.
... Wait. How often do things drink your blood without askin'?! --Oh, right. Hunter. Guess the better question is what things, huh?
no subject
But, uh. I've had a lot of learning experiences outside of my universe, so.
I've got a section for my contributions; make it last.
no subject
And yeah, I will. Seriously, thank you. You ever need a favor, or a fire mage for somethin', you let me know.
no subject
[Forget all the times he hasn't been able to; he's mastered the art of dragging himself back up.]
And I'll keep that favor in my shirt pocket, thanks.
