[The face of the pretty sword of the fleet comes on and he smiles pleasantly at the camera, bowing his head in a way that makes that wing-like hair sway like the flapping of wings.]

A good day to you all. After a welcome suggestion from one of the captains here, I have established a dojo aboard the Iskaulit. It is open and welcome for all but I do wish to mention that I will be offering lessons in swordsmanship here. Please feel free to come and use the space for your purposes.

[He tilts his head just a little.]

For those who have already asked for lessons, they are ready to begin. I look forward to seeing you.

[Another smile and he ends the transmission.]


Action - Dojo

[He has been rather pleased with his find here and has taken a number of days to make sure that the dojo is properly setup. Now it looks like a dojo one might find in Japan and he's even crafted some pieces of wood into practice blades which hang on the wall. Naturally there are a number of sizes since not everyone will be able to wield the same length of blade.

Today he is in a more simplistic outfit. A modified version of what his citadel attire looks like. Something he's put together after gathering some clothes from one of the systems. It will work well for teaching others to use a blade. And this is how one will find him when they walk into his dojo. Sometimes dancing as he waits, sometimes kneeling, sometimes practicing with one of the wooden swords for himself.

No matter how you find him, he will offer a smile in greeting. Welcome to the dojo...]

A saniwa? I wonder if that old hag was a saniwa. [He mutters quietly to himself.] Your master must be pretty powerful. I had heard stories of course, but never really believed in any of them. Guess I'll have to rethink things now.

Are there a lot of you where your from? Swords with souls and whatnot?

I suppose so. I have not met all of my children yet. Though, there are a fair amount of us at the citadel.

[A shame he doesn't have a picture of all of them under the tree here. Then he could show people here the children he has had the pleasure of meeting.]

One of my children was here for a time. Unfortunately he left just before I arrived.

[canofmanji]

Really? I didn't realize there were more of you here. If any more of your... children- [So weird to say.] I would be happy to meet them. And spar with them if they were interested.

[crow_dad]

Should any of them arrive, this father would be honored to have you spar with them. Until then, I offer myself for you to practice with so you can better match them.

[He holds out his hand.]

More than fair. [Manji grins in excitement.] Maybe one day I'll be a good enough match to keep up with your speed. [Manji takes the offered hand and gives it a firm shake.]

Ahhhh. This father will have to improve his speed to keep you on your toes!

[Of course he laughs a bit.]

It would not be good for the master of the dojo to be so easily defeated.

[canofmanji]

No, I suppose it wouldn't be good if you were already dethroned from your own dojo. So you better not go easy on me the next time we fight.

[crow_dad]

I shall give my word to never go easy on you.

[Even if he does hold back somewhat because you're human and he doesn't want to accidentally kill you.]

Good. Because when I get good enough to beat you? [Yes, when and not if.] Then I'll really have something to brag about!

[crow_dad]

Oh dear. I will have to keep an eye on you to ensure I can keep my status as the master of this dojo.

[Yeah. He doesn't look the least bit worried.]

[canofmanji]

You better.

[And just like that Manji turns to leave.] I'll see you around. I'm interested to see how this dojo of yours turns out.

[crow_dad]

[Oh the amused look you are getting.]

May I have my practice blade back?

[canofmanji]

[Manji had enjoyed the fight so much that he forgot he was still holding it! Totally wasn't the mun being an idiot. He chuckles as he hands it over as he realizes his error.] I suppose I better before you take it from me, huh?

[crow_dad]

I know I would prefer not to. After all, I want to be able to welcome you back here anytime you wish.

[Taking the wooden blade, he places it back on the display stand then turns to the man and gives him a bow.]

[It had been a very long time since Manji really did a proper bow, but he was once a samurai. Some things are so ingrained that they never really leave so he manages to bow respectfully enough.]
