[ Congratulations, Wonderducks! You have a twelve-year-old girl joining your crew.

After suddenly being teleported on board, Elize stands frozen in fright and looking entirely out of place with the confetti and cheerful music playing for her arrival. Is the small plate of pudding for her? She ignores it for now, despite how delicious it looks. Too afraid to even bother touching it.

Her hands are clasped together close to her chest, a shy mannerism she'd taken up since Teepo's gone. She looks around nervously, already shuffling over to the personnel room with her name on it. ]

[Kaneis, per usual, was hanging out in the pilot seat- reading a book. When the oh so familiar music comes on and the teleportation sounds- Kaneis simply lifts the book over his head to shield himself from the falling confetti. Since ew. That's stuff annoying to brush out]

[But soon, he looks over at who got teleported. He half expected it to be Colette or Sheena- So seeing it's that little girl he spoke to earlier? That's a bit of a surprise]

Oh...hey.

[Which man, she looks positively freaked]

Are you alright?

[ She lets out a quiet gasp. At least she doesn't jump when she hears him. His voice is familiar which brings her a small sense of relief. It might've helped that she'd spoke to him before, even if it was only for a brief while. ]

Oh... I remember you. [ A pause before she answers his question. She slumps her shoulders. ] I don't know...

[ She does seem a little better than when she first spoke on the communicator though? Not crying or anything! ]

Didn't expect to get sent to another ship like that, huh?

[He never had to go through the shuffle. Being here from the beginning, he just woke up on the Wonderduck. But, he could see how it could be unsettling]

But yeah. I remember you too. I'm Kaneis. Looks like this means we're crewmates.

[ She really hates being dumped somewhere with strangers. Kind of reminds her of when Jude was jumping the gun on letting some family adopt her. And without asking her. No one really has much of a choice in this place though. ]

My name's Elize Lutus. [ "Crewmates". With the way she's interpreting it in her head, she starts to perk up. ] Crewmates... so we're friends?

[ Of course she'd interpret it as friends... ]

Friends?

[He blinks for a second. If it was anyone who wasn't a scared little girl, he'd probably try to brush off that notion. But you know what, even Kaneis has a heart- or rather just a weakness for kids]

...Uh, Sure. That's one way to think of it. We spend time together and we look after each other. So that's like friends, right?

[....he may not be totally certain since his friend list is lacking BUT IT SOUNDS LEGIT]

[ She begins to brighten up, a tiny shy smile forming on her lips. Ever since she met Jude and the others back in Hamil, she'd always been eager to make more friends. ]

Right! We're friends. [ Then she tucks her arms behind her back, starting to feel embarrassed again. ] Umm... I can't do much to repair the ship though. I'm sorry.

[Yep, she's definitely much more adorable when she brightens up]

Heh, that's okay. I'm pretty useless with anything that's not piloting, so I can't do much to repair either. But we got Lloyd to fix the ship up- that's his job.

What about you? Do you know your augment yet?

Is Lloyd apart of our crew? [ More friends? ]

Personnel support. [ She says the words slowly, uncertain what the words actually mean. But of course, she can still has the knowledge the augment gives her. Just don't let her explain things in words... ]

[ koujaku knows the familiar sounds that accompany a new member joining the ship, if only because he experienced it first hand not too long ago. when he hears the joyous music, he heads down to take a look and finds...

a small child. a small, obviously frightened child, no less. ]

Hey there. [ he's a big dude with tattoos and scars, but he smiles softly as he tentatively takes a step toward her. ] You must be our new crewmate, hm? Welcome aboard. [ when he's close enough, he kneels down to her level, ] You okay?

[ She'd never seen someone with a lot of scars and tattoos before! It surprises her at first to see him approach her. With how kindly he's speaking to her though, she doesn't cower away.

A small nod, feeling less shaken up since Kaneis greeted her earlier. The people here are her crewmates. Her brand new friends is how she likes to view it. She shouldn't be afraid. ]

Yes. My name's Elize Lutus. Thank you for the welcome.

[ koujaku grins, pleased to see that she isn't as upset as she looked initially. ]

It's nice to meet you, Elize. My name's Koujaku, [ he offers his hand out to her. ] Looks like we lucked out this shuffle. All the other ships are going to be jealous that we have such a cute girl on board.

Nice to meet you, Koujaku. [ She reaches out to shake his hand. It's not much of a firm handshake. Not really used to that. ]

Umm... [ Cute girl? Her cheeks start to turn red. You're embarrassing her... ]

[ koujaku shakes her hand lightly, then goes the extra mile and kisses the back of it because he is absolutely disgusting. ]

Hm? Did I say something wrong? [ he knows FULL WELL WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE. ]

[ WOAH THERE. Teepo would probably be screaming something terrible if he were here.

That is overly friendly and is making Elize super awkward. And very red. She's just going to pull her hand away now and tuck her arms behind her back. ]

You're embarrassing me.

[ no one asked you teepo.

koujaku takes the hint quickly enough and offers a small, apologetic smile, letting his own hand drop to his side. ]

Ah - sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you. [ or maybe he did. a little bit. he decides to change the subject now, ]

Have you met the others yet?

[ Right. She's not sure if she believes that, but okay. You're her crewmate, so she should try to get along... but he has kind of made her feel a little uncomfortable. This does not help her shyness at all. ]

I've met Kaneis. I heard about Lloyd, but I haven't met him yet...

[By now, Jennifer was familiar with the sounds of a new crewmember arriving. It was always a little exciting, especially because she knew she'd been lucky to land on a ship where they had everything upgraded fairly well.

She finally found the new arrival headed toward her room, giving a friendly smile.]

Hey there- how're you doing?

[ On the way to her room, Elize freezes up to look at the woman addressing her. However, seeing the smile puts her at ease. All of her crewmates are so nice to her. ]

Hi... [ She greets her back timidly. ] I'm doing better. Are you my crewmate too?

That's good. I know arriving here can be... a bit of a shock, to say the least.

[She nodded.]

I'm Jennifer- I'm our resident doctor, in fact.

It was scary. [ But she's doing better now. She attempts a small smile. ]

I'm Elize Lutus. My augment's personnel support. [ Words that she doesn't know if asked to define it... ]

I understand... being pulled away from home and dumped here can't be easy on anybody.

[She nods.]

Well, I'm glad you're aboard. Have you been able to get a good look around the ship yet? We've gotten a lot of upgrades, so you lucked out.

[ She shakes her head. ]

Not too much. I was just heading to my room. [ She looks over to the door leading to it. It has a plate with her name on it. ]

It's like I have my own office...

Oh- you must have a special augment, then, to have been given your own office. ... you know about the augment, right?

Y-yes! I know that I can operate some of the equipment now.

[ She just doesn't know what the words "personnel support" even mean. But she can still perform her duties if needed. ]
